We are pleased to present this 2000 Porsche 996 Carrera 4 Millennium Edition finished in Violet Chromaflair over a luxurious Natural Brown leather interior. Built to commemorate the new millennium, this Carrera 4 represents #705 out of only 911 examples built for the entire world. Having undergone a noteworthy service in 2018 which included the replacement of the IMS bearing, this special 996 is now being offered for auction in very nice condition with approximately 39k miles shown on the odometer.
This Millennium Edition is finished in its signature color Violet Chromaflair, a very unique paint which as described in the original Porsche brochure “…changes from black to dark green to an elegant shade of violet.” The exterior finish is said to be in good condition with minimal signs of wear, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. This special edition currently rides on aftermarket 5-spoke chrome wheels which are wrapped in a set of Goodyear Eagle tires. The seller confirms that the original set of factory wheels will also be included in the sale.
Inside, the driver is situated in a specially appointed Natural Brown leather interior with burr-maple trim cladding the steering wheel, handbrake cover, shift knob and door pulls. The seller notes the cabin to be in great shape, although there is a slight crack in the wood finish as depicted in the photo gallery. The radio is currently inoperable; however, all other gauges, electrical components and accessories remain fully functional.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 3.4L flat-six engine rated at 296 HP and 273 lb-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven by way of an automatic Tiptronic transmission making for a 0-60 time of approximately 5.2 seconds. This 996 is said to drive beautifully with an oil change carried out very recently and a major service performed in May of 2018 which included the following items:

@OIBEric sorry that I put Bluregrass Porsche # in and that won't send on this sight I can tell you that when I had the original IMS replaced I told them to do everything to this car so be updated and all work is on their computers this is a beautiful car Ive had since April 25,2018 and its ready to go as it does not get much use from me and needs a new home

@BigDam BigDan I have tried to respond twice but just found out i cannot add Blue Grass Porsche let me be brief I replaced the IMS and while at it I told them to do what ever the car needed besides this and they did all the other things so no problems with this car
I, too, would like to know the circumstances for the cylinder head replacement. Also, any idea what's wrong with the radio? Electrical issue with the harness or the radio itself? And, can you show the crack in the wood trim?
What was the nature of the problem which resulted in the cylinder head cover getting replaced. Engine removed from car?
