We are pleased to present this 2000 Porsche 996 Carrera Cabriolet finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Space Grey interior. This example features a six-speed manual gearbox and 18” Turbo-look wheels that complement the distinctive looks and driving characteristics of the 996 generation. With approximately 50k miles showing on the odometer, this Carrera Cabriolet is being listed for auction by its seller out of Miami, FL.
The Arctic Silver Metallic finish is stated to be in very good condition overall with some stone chips (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Notable exterior features include a power-operated black soft top, Euro-style clear side marker lenses, factory Xenon headlamps, and 18” Turbo-look wheels that come dressed in Pirelli P-Zero tires.
The Space Grey interior is said to be in excellent condition and the seller reports all accessories to be working properly. Factory equipment includes automatic climate control, a wind deflector, and floor mats with Porsche script. A full specification list can be found below:
The 3.4L naturally aspirated flat-six engine produces 296hp and 258lb-ft of torque, which is sent through a 6-speed manual gearbox to the rear wheels. The seller describes this 996 to be in great running order with an oil change recently carried out and reports that the IMS bearing has not been addressed.
Accompanying the sale of this 996 Carrera is one master key, a toolkit, and a clean title.

Please excuse the noisy children. They hadn't seen me in a week, and insisted on coming.
I also took the pictures that @Mercyhealth requested. I will submit them to PCar to be added to the gallery. It usually takes a while for them to add them, so if anyone wants them sooner, please send me a message with your email address. I'll send them to you.

@Mercyhealth - I don't think I can post a link, but it ended on New Years Eve. What you see in picture 58 is a debris behind the glass. It is not a crack.
In currently at the Mecum auction in Kissimmee. I return back to Miami Saturday evening. I will get everything you requested once I'm back.
@Bill930P @AtPorsche Can you give us the link to the BaT auction ( or at least the date of auction )so we all don’t have to go through the same questions here? Or is that not permitted on Pcarmarket ?
Beautiful car with the right leather always a shame when either life issues of wife (spouse) issues make one sell a recently purchased but non used/enjoyed car.
Is the center dial face cracked pic 58?
Can we see video of top retraction and closure?
Can we see close ups of the front radiators?
Can we see close up pictures of high touch area like key ignition, center console and ash tray region, wing mirror adjuster control, along with door handles?
Again if this was covered in the recent previous sale please provide link to eliminate duplicate questions.
Thank you and good luck.
@Fu-Schnickens - agreed. I have a local shop that will do the IMS for about $1900
@Bill930P Shame the buyer won't get a chance to enjoy this car. It seemed like a pretty good buy.
@AtPorsche Are you affiliated with a local shop that could do the LN Engineering IMS replacement after purchase?
@Vintage_Lover - Yes. Due to circumstances, the buyer has consigned the car back to me. I'm posting it here for him.
Hi there, is this the same car was for sale on BaT recently?
