This 996 Cabriolet is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida showing approximately 14k miles on the odometer.
This Carrera is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic (L92U) with a black convertible soft top. Options include 18” Turbo-look wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires, polished tailpipes, xenon headlights with washers, and wheel caps with full-color Porsche crests. Additional equipment includes fog lights and a deployable rear spoiler. The seller notes some chips and scratches, a blemish on the rear driver’s side wheel, and a small scratch on the rear bumper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is upholstered in Space Grey leather and features optional heated, power-adjustable front seats. Additional options include a CD storage compartment, a Becker-Porsche CDR-220 stereo, a Hi-Fi sound system, and a wind deflector. Other equipment includes a three-spoke steering wheel, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The seller notes a scratch on the driver’s door pull and minimal scratches around the e-brake. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to work as intended, with no warning lights present.
Powered by a 3.4-liter M96 flat-six engine, this 996 sends up to 296 HP and 258 lb.-ft. of torque to its rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achievable in approximately 5.4 seconds, with a top speed of 174 MPH. Stopping power is provided by fixed 4-piston calipers and ventilated discs. All maintenance is reportedly up to date.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a car cover, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for your interest in my Porsche 996.1. I have enjoyed owning this car as it is very fun to drive and still gets the attention it deserves while driving. Next year it will be 25 years old and considered a classic...with only 14k miles! It still smells new every time I get in it. I have it stored in a climate-controlled garage and made sure the car has been taken care of properly. All maintenance is up to date. The car is completely stock, and the engine has fresh output from the factory. Everything on this vehicle is working as it should be. I hope you enjoy owning this vehicle as much as I have.”

@catdog2 What tool did you use to find the options and build data?
If this was on the west coast I'd keep bidding, between fees and shipping and taxes I think I have to throw the towel in. Still a great deal at this price.
@catdog2 Yes, powerful engine with something to give in every gear. Great car and soon to be classic!

@Bilinski4447 No IMS has not been done, due to low mileage and low risk of failure I did not feel it a priority. Will be up to new owners peace of mind and discretion.
Any IMS replacement?
