Representing the original water-cooled Porsche 911, this 2000 Porsche 996 Carrera Coupe is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Black full leather upholstery. Equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, the car was further optioned with 18” Turbo-Look wheels, Litronic headlights, the Hi-Fi Sound Package, Porsche Stability Management, and more. Acquired by the second and current owner from Porsche Littleton of Colorado in June 2021, this Carrera is now available for auction with less than 30k miles showing on the odometer accompanied by detailed service documentation.
This Coupe was ordered in Arctic Silver Metallic and features optional Litronic headlights with washers along with 18” Turbo-Look wheels with colored Porsche-crested center caps. It rides on Continental ContiPro Contact Sport tires from 2021 with approximately 8/32” of tread remaining. The seller notes a few imperfections including a small dent and paint chip on the front passenger side, minor marks on the front bumper believed to have occurred under prior ownership, and a hardly noticeable dent on the hood likely from being closed on an object. Full frontal paint protection film was applied shortly after the car’s original purchase and was removed about six months ago due to yellowing. The paint is otherwise described to be in great condition, and protection film remains on the side mirrors. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Black full leather upholstery and a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel. Additional options include the Hi-Fi Sound Package with speakers, a remote 6-disc CD changer, and an on-board computer. A Rennline phone mount with MagSafe has been fitted, and the seller notes a flaw on the passenger’s side vanity mirror. Porsche all-weather rubber floor mats and the original carpet floor mats will accompany the sale.
A naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 296 HP and 258 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Services highlighted by the seller are listed below:
This sale will include a clean title, owner's manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a spare tire, a battery charger, sales literature, and service records.
The seller would like you to know: “This lovingly maintained 2000 Porsche 911 Carrera (996) is in exceptional condition, with a fully documented service history, including every receipt since its original purchase. As the second owner and a lifelong car enthusiast, I’ve taken great pride in ensuring it remains in top form. Just recently, I completed a thorough 30k-mile service—including a new battery, AC system repair and recharge, fresh oil change, and a full pre-sale inspection—carried out by Porsche specialist Arvada Motorsports. If you’re searching for a truly well-preserved, properly cared-for classic Porsche, this is it. This car was my first step into the world of Porsche after years of owning S-model Audis, and it was nothing short of a dream come true. It deepened my appreciation for the brand, and now, with a heavy heart, I’m parting ways to make room for my next chapter—a 991 C2S. My hope is that the next owner enjoys this car as much as I have, and shares occasional updates on the adventures you take with it. Happy bidding!”

@Dailydriver44 little to no oil consumption to my knowledge. I've never had to add oil between changes in my 4 years of ownership, and nothing in previous owners documentation from the Porsche Dealer it was serviced at indicated oil consumption issues.
Any evidence of oil consumption during the current owner’s ownership?

@johnrmitch no worries, looks like the moderators didn't get that into the listing. I have one key and then one lockout key.
@GoHarding3r do you happen to have a spare key? I apologize in advance if I overlooked those details in the post.
@johnrmitch thanks for commenting. Yeah, thats kind of the conclusion I drew. When I bought this 4 years ago, I read basically a novels worth of Rennlist and PCA and Reddit commentary about the IMS and never let it bother me. With a build date also of April 2000 (pictured) it seemed likely, although not confirmable, that is has a dual row IMS. The fact that the original owner was meticulous about taking it to a Porshce dealer for 20 years and they never replaced it or were recommended to do so in the paperwork gave me all the confidence I needed when I bought it.
That is a clean looking 996. I know the IMS issue has kind of held people back from buying these, but haven’t “experts” recently suggested that if the IMS bearing were to go out, it would have happened by now?

@PCARMARKET_MODERATOR thanks.
To serious buyers, willing to share service advisors name and number as he's more than willing to take calls about the condition of the car, PPI, etc. Happy Biding!
An inspection report has been added to the listing gallery.
@Peabo thanks for the comment. No oil analysis, I always cut filters open to make sure they looked clean but never sent oil off to Blackstone or anywhere.
Has an oil analysis been done? Thank you
