In 2000, Porsche celebrated a new era with the special 911 Carrera 4 Millennium Edition. Limited to 911 examples produced in total, the Millennium Edition wears unique Violet Chromaflair paint and a Brown Natural Leather interior with Dark Maple wood veneers and aluminum-look instrument dials. It also came standard with a 10mm lowered sports suspension, 18” 911 Turbo-Look wheels, polished badging, and an individual production number inscribed on a special limitation plaque. This particular example, #434/911, was acquired by the current owner in August of 2022 and is now being offered for auction out of North Carolina while showing approximately 75k miles on the odometer. The Millennium Edition is defined by its unique Violet Chromaflair paint which appears to shift hues depending on light exposure. Other details include a highly polished rear “911” model designation, chrome tailpipes, a rear window wiper, a sunroof, Litronic headlamps, and factory 18” 911 Turbo-Look alloy wheels which have been powdercoated. The car rides on Continental tires showing date codes from 2018-2019, and the seller notes minor signs of road-going wear to the exterior along with a small chip in the windshield. The CARFAX report also shows minor damage in 2018 and in 2019. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, this 996 features Brown Natural Leather upholstery complemented by a Black Alcantara headliner and Dark Maple wood trim on the steering wheel, inner handles, door pocket covers, gear lever, and parking brake handle. The Millennium Edition also highlights aluminum-look instrument dials, “911” script door sills, heated electrically adjustable seats, and a serialized limitation plaque affixed to the center console. Additional equipment includes a HiFi sound system, a trunk-mounted CD changer, and Porsche Communication Management including a cassette player and navigation. The seller notes the burl wood veneers were refinished under prior ownership.
A naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine sends up to 296 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The seller states the service records are available dating back to 2014 and an LN Engineering IMS bearing was installed along with a new rear main seal at 47k miles.
This sale will include some documentation, owner’s manuals, and a clean title.

@jeffnra Actually, they only built 911 of them. It’s on the plate in front of your shifter…434 of 911.
Bid in the amount of $15,000
The previous owner told me that one of the Car Fax reports was from a shopping cart that had scratched it in a parking lot and he had the paint touched up. I have no information on the other minor report. The car was garaged kept during the hurricane and we live on the North side of Asheville that did not have any flooding.
Any water damage from Hurricane Helene that hit Asheville?
Bid in the amount of $13,996
I may have missed this, but do you have any details around the two minor accidents on the CarFax.
The veneer has been refinished and is in excellent condition. We will also post a Vin Doc tomorrow that will show all options included at the factory.
I downloaded IMS invoice and pick of back seat which PCar will post tomorrow morning. The picture will show small discoloring over the back seat that was there when I bought the car. I have not observed any leaking of any kind since I have owned it. I don't think I will be able to put it on a lift to get better pictures but as I crawl under I do not observe any corrosion additional pictures will look exactly like the current posted photos.
1) Can you please post documentation of IMS and rms replacement? 2) how does the a/c and heat blow? 3) can you post a few more photos or a video of headliner? Want to make sure the stains on seat aren’t from a sun roof leak. 4) are you able to take more photos of under the vehicle — looks a bit corroded and want to make sure there isn’t any rust. Thanks!

Axle boot failure means the grease gets out and dirt gets in. Dirt and other grime are abrasive so eventually the CV joints fail. They fail by very slowly grinding down the components and clearances grow. That's when you hear clicking. It takes a really long time.
No clicking sounds being made
Bid in the amount of $9,250
As far as axle boot is axle making any clicking sound?
I have not done an oil analysis. Service was performed on the car last Friday.
@jeffnra, has an oil analysis been done?
All the electrical and mechanical systems are working fine. I have only had to replace headlight bulb and battery since I have owned the car.
Very nice example. Are all electricals, accessory motors, etc. in good working order? Thanks in advance.
There are new pictures mixed in with the original photos. There were some stains in the rear of the car interior when I bought it.
It looks like all the pictures listed here are from the previous listing over a year ago... any new pictures? Also, the rear seats look like they either have water damage/ staining or some other discoloration.. can you provide insight here?
The Chromaflair paint is impressive. We shot the pictures on two different days and these are the best shots we have. It can go from an olive green to eggplant purple to gray and almost black depending upon the light.
Bid in the amount of $9,000
Most of these pics don't do the color the justice it deserves because they were shot on a cloudy day. I suggest anyone who hasn't seen Violet Chromaflair in it's full glory check out some pics on rennbow

@jeffnra There were not 3500 Millenniums produced - only 911
Bid in the amount of $6,500
Tire codes: DOT 1HW OFBCWF 2521 REAR
DOT AF5N WC5W 2018 FRONT
I did not have time to replace the axle boots and will credit the buyer the $691 quoted to replace them. Will post additional codes for tires asap.
@jeffnra Good morning.
I see a receipt from 4/25/25 labeled DECLINED for axle boots. Have these axle boots been replaced? or is that still to be done.
Please tell the tire date codes.
Thank you
This a solid car, I just don't drive it enough to keep it. It has been maintained well over the years with attention to details taken to keep it running and looking great. The mileage is low enough to where it could be someone's daily driver and it also has the uniqueness being number 434 of the 3500 Millennium 911's produced. It has been recently serviced and looked over by one of the best local German performance mechanics and is ready for the next owner to enjoy it as I have.
