This 2000 Porsche 996 Carrera presents an Arctic Silver Metallic finish over Graphite Grey leather upholstery and features a 6-speed manual transmission, 18” Turbo-look wheels, Litronic headlights with washers, the Power Seat Package, and more. Initially delivered in Newport Beach, California, this example remained a California car until it was acquired by a reported fourth owner in New York. It is now being offered for auction out of New Jersey showing approximately 147k miles on the odometer accompanied by a nearly full service history.
This Carrera comes factory-finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and rides on optional 18” Turbo-look light alloy wheels. Modifications include a lowered suspension for an aggressive stance, Fabspeed exhaust pipes, and clear side marker lenses. The seller notes minor signs of road-going wear, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features Graphite Grey partial leather upholstery with optional matching floor mats, the Power Seat Package, and a 3-spoke leather steering wheel. Additional options include the HiFi Sound Package, an onboard computer, and a 6-disc remote CD changer. The seller adds that a GT3-style center console delete has been installed along with a spacer on the steering wheel hub. Signs of wear are noted on plastic surfaces along with a crack in the driver's seat base.
This 996 is equipped with a 3.4-liter flat-six engine sending 296 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The seller states an upgraded Fabspeed exhaust system has been installed and services in 2017 included the replacement of the IMS bearing with an updated dual-row design bearing, the transmission rebuilt, the clutch replaced, and the water pump replaced. Additionally, recent service in September of 2022 is said to include replacements to the air/oil separator, coolant expansion tank, breather hose, spark plugs, and coil packs along with an SVD baffled oil pan installed to prevent surging of oil in hard cornering.
This sale will include a clean title, the original window sticker, a car cover, a windshield cover, 3 keys including one valet key, and service records from 2003 onwards.
The seller would like you to know: “I have owned multiple 996s, and this is the most dialed-in one I’ve had. I’ve decided I need to downsize my current Porsche fleet to make room for something else.”
