Carrying the Plymouth namesake into the new millennium, the Prowler was manufactured by Chrysler from 1997-2002 as a retro-style sports car inspired by 1930s-era hot rods. This example is one of 2,746 produced for the 2000 model year and comes finished in Prowler Yellow over an Agate leather interior. Preserved with under 4k miles showing on the odometer, this collectible Prowler was originally sold in Washington and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.
The Prowler’s styling was influenced by a Chip Foose retro-roadster design and is one of few road-going production cars to feature a racing-style open-wheel configuration. This Prowler Yellow example is equipped with a retractable black soft top and factory 17”/20” chrome wheels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX showing damage reported in 2022.
The cabin is trimmed in Agate leather accented by a Prowler Yellow painted dashboard with a central-mounted instrument cluster. Other features include an AutoMeter tachometer affixed ahead of the three-spoke multifunction leather steering, air-conditioning, adjustable seats with Prowler-logo backrests, and an AM/FM CD cassette stereo system.
This Prowler is equipped with an aluminum-block 3.5-liter V6 engine that sends over 250 HP to the rear wheels through a 4-speed Autostick automatic transaxle. The drivetrain layout and lightweight aluminum construction help the Prowler to achieve an ideal 50/50 weight distribution. The CARFAX report shows a service completed in December 2022 by the selling dealer.
This sale will include a clean title.

@fjthomas427 The photos were take on February 15th 2023. Everything on the vehicle works just like it did when it left the Plymouth Dealership. I do not see any reason the vehicle could not be driven 1100 miles. Yes, the yellow really makes this car pop!
What is the date of the photos shown in the pcarmarket pictures please. Also, does everything function properly i.e. air conditioner, transmission, lights, wipers etc.. In your opinion would there be any problem with picking the car up and driving it to a 1100 mile destination? Great car, love the color!
@LeeDavidAuerbach When we acquired this Prowler it did not have any damage to it. The repairs if any, were completed before we owned the vehicle.
