Available for auction is this 2000 Land Rover Range Rover 4.6 HSE finished in Kent Green Metallic over Sand Beige leather interior. With the introduction of the P38A generation, Land Rover aimed to move the Range Rover further upmarket by offering more luxury equipment and premium trims. Notably, the P38A was the last generation of the Range Rover to utilize the Rover V8 engine and Connolly Leather upholstery. Originally registered in Oklahoma and later in South Carolina, this 2000 P38A came factory equipped with the premium HSE trim which adds a more powerful 4.6-liter V8 engine along with 18” wheels. Supported by nearly 50 service entries included on CARFAX, this Range Rover is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Rhode Island showing just over 130k miles on the odometer.
This Range Rover comes finished in Kent Green Metallic and features headlight washers, fog lights, and a receiver hitch. The finish is said to remain in excellent overall condition and the seller has provided a collection of detailed images which can be found in the gallery along with paint meter readings. It rides on a set of 18” Hurricane wheels dressed in Antares Comfort A5 tires from 2014 and 2020. The CARFAX report indicates minor damage occurred to the rear end in 2007, although no further information is provided.
The cabin is upholstered in Sand Beige leather with contrasting piping along with beige carpets, door panels, and a lower dashboard. Amenities include wood trim, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 300-watt 12-speaker sound system, heated power-adjustable front seats, a tilting and sliding glass sunroof, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks, and the J.A.M.E.S navigation system. The seller notes that the bottom section of the driver’s seat was replaced and that the LED screen is somewhat unclear, while all other gauges, electronics, and accessories remain fully functional.
Power comes from an aluminum alloy 4.6-liter V8 engine which produces up to 222 HP and 300 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven by way of a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with All-Terrain Anti-Lock braking. The rear Electronic Air Suspension (EAS) system has been converted to a coil spring setup and the original suspension hydraulics are said to have been left in place. The CARFAX report includes 48 service entries dating back as far as the year 2000 and the seller states there are no outstanding maintenance items at this time.
This sale will include a clean title.
