We are pleased to offer this well-preserved 2000 Honda S2000 finished in Silverstone Metallic over a red interior. Introduced with innovative DOHC-VTEC technology, double wishbone suspension, and a 6-speed manual gearbox with a limited-slip differential, the S2000 is especially sought after for its 2.0 L inline-4 engine which offers a 9k-RPM redline and an impressive 120 HP output per liter. This 2-owner example is a lifelong California car backed by a comprehensive history of dealer maintenance recorded from 2004-2019. Retaining all of its original equipment, this collectible Honda S2000 is now being offered for auction by its seller in Marina Del Rey, CA. with just over 24k miles showing on the odometer.
This example is finished in Silverstone Metallic and the paint is said to be in immaculate condition except for a few minor scrapes on the lower front spoiler. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. The cabriolet top is said to be fully functional and the original boot cover is included. Dealer-installed front and rear spoiler have been added and the factory 16” five-spoke wheels have been recently dressed in new Continental Extreme Contact tires.
The exterior is offset by a red interior with matching carpets and a black dashboard. Some noteworthy details include a sporty 3-spoke leather steering wheel, aluminum pedals, and an aluminum shift knob. The cabin is said to be in excellent condition with all gauges and accessories working properly.
The naturally aspirated 2.0 L F20C inline 4-cylinder engine features DOHC-VTEC variable valve timing and an output of 240 HP. The rear wheels are through a 6-speed manual transmission with a Torsen limited-slip differential. Other factory performance features include double-wishbone suspension and electrically assisted power steering. Records are included showing consistent routine service being carried out at Scott Robinson Honda in Torrance, CA. from 2004-2019.
