Carrying Ferrari into the new millennium, the 360 Modena debuted in 1999 featuring entirely new bodywork by Pininfarina along with a mid-mounted V8 engine producing nearly 400 HP. This 2000 example is finished in Rosso Corsa over a Nero leather interior and was originally delivered to Ferrari of Atlanta equipped with optional Daytona-style seats, a rear challenge grille, Scuderia shields, and a gated 6-speed manual transmission. It was acquired by the current owner from Lamborghini of Newport Beach in 2021 and is now being offered for auction out of California while showing under 13k miles on the odometer.
A far departure from its predecessor the F355, the 360 Modena features curvaceous flowing bodywork by Pininfarina including prominent air intakes and a transparent rear engine cover. This Modena is finished in the quintessential Ferrari color of Rosso Corsa and includes optional Scuderia shields on the front fenders as well as a black Challenge-style rear grille. Other equipment includes xenon headlights, quad exhaust outlets, and factory 18” 5-spoke “Starfish” alloy wheels by BBS. The seller notes clear paint protection film is applied to the front end and rocker panels and the rear Pirelli P Zero tires were replaced in 2022. The front tires show production date codes from 2020. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in Nero leather upholstery with silver accents and optional Daytona-style seats. Interior details include a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, drilled alloy pedals and passenger footrest, crested headrests, branded floor mats, Ferrari-logo sill plates, and a gated shifter assembly with a polished gear knob. The driver is also provided with automatic climate control, power windows, heated and power-operated mirrors, a factory sound system, and a digital clock located in the overhead console. The seller notes the common “sticky button” issue is not present and some minor signs of age-related wear can be seen.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated Tipo F131 V8 engine featuring a flat-plane crankshaft, dry-sump lubrication, quad overhead camshafts, and 5 valves-per-cylinder. An output of up to 395 HP is sent to the rear wheels through a factory 6-speed gated manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Standard equipment includes four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, Bosch 5.3 ABS/ASR, and power-assisted rack and pinion steering. The seller notes an upgraded Capristo exhaust system has been installed and the car was most recently serviced by Lamborghini of Newport Beach in 2021 with recommended maintenance, new front brakes, an oil change, and an emissions inspection.
This sale will include a clean Texas title as well as the original owner’s manuals, a window sticker, and a toolkit.

@ClassicCollector - Nice work getting the recent records on the belts. Too many sellers don't take the time to make a few simple phone calls to request prior records. Just about any shop will share what they have with the current owner of a vehicle.
in this model, NOTHING beats a coupe, nothing beats rosso, nothing beats a nero interior, and NOTHING BEATS A MANUAL. I am biased of course, but this car, with the rear challenge grille, can't beat it...put some 19 in CS rims and drive it....this will be the next F car that surges in value....IMO so much better looking than the 430....my money is in one....

@toofast67 Just added some undercarriage pictures. Underbody is clean, very few minor rashes but no damage underneath. Headers have no signs of cracking nor do They feel like They have any cracks. Clutch is original as far as i am aware of. Clutch feels strong and engagement point is in the middle of the throw. I am not aware of any paint work on the vehicle from its previous owners if any but I have had the front right corner of the front bumper touched-up (tiny spec in front of the right tire at the bottom corner) . Vehicle has all of its original paint protection from the factory, no additional ppf.

Any undercarriage pics? Please provide approx. clutch wear. Any paint work? Have the headers been inspected for cracks? Thank you!
@Chipper , @Eiremon I was able to finally get a hold of the service records prior to purchasing the Ferrari from Newport Beach Automotive Group. The Timing Belts and Tensioning bearings have been replaced. Newport had them replaced by RMT Motorsports on 4/12/2021 at 12,261 miles. I have uploaded the repair order to the images.
I hope this is settling for all bidders!
-Warmly

@Jk458 This is a Private Party sale. It's a clean Texas Title that will be signed and handed to the next owner. No dealer fees nor a dealer transaction.
Thank you for asking, don't want any confusion.
Can the seller clarify one point:
Is this a private sell or a dealer submission?
The recent comments suggest the seller is a dealer but the auction lists a private party-this point can be important for sales tax requirements.
Thanks
Hello all, I was the prior owner to this car! Looking at the questions and providing input, I do believe (not 100% sure) that prior to my acquisition from Lamborghini Newport Beach that they had the timing belts changed.
Overall, this was a fantastic car that never had a problem
@Eiremon Absolutely, the vehicle will get a general maintenance as it has been about a year since the last service. The general maintenance includes a 30pt inspection, oil and oil filter change, tire pressure inflation, electrical system check, and any other fluids recommended by the Ferrari Technician. At this time the Timing belts are not on the agenda.
"For buyer confidence, the Ferrari 360 Modena will have a complete service by the end of the auction so that you will have a current as can be service record and do not have to worry about servicing it once its in your hands. The Car will get a complete inspection, fluid change, and another service the technician recommends."
Would be good to clarify - will this include the belts which appear to be long overdue?
Wow 17 years must be some kind of record on belts and tensioners! At least we can now budget for immediate replacement. Thanks
@Chipper I was able to get a hold of Ferrari Maserati of Atlanta who still has the detail records of the car and they were able to confirm that Timing belts and Tensioning Bearings have been replaced!
@Chipper According to the Carfax, the Ferrari received its 15K / 5 Year service at Ferrari Maserati of Atlanta in 2006 with only 5,000 Miles. This Service entails Replace Engine Oil, Replace Engine Oil Filter, Replace Brake Fluid, Replace Transmission Fluid, Replace Coolant, Replace, Air Filters and A/C Pollen Filters, Replace Spark Plugs, Replace Timing Belts and Tension Bearings, Top Power-Steering fluid and Washer Reservoir to Correct Level, Visual, Inspection of Wipers and Replace if Necessary at Additional Cost, External and Internal, Visual Brake Inspection – Pads and Discs, Visual Inspection for Leaks, Check Front and Rear Suspension Components, Visual Inspection of Fasteners and Bushings, Check Tightness of Engine and Transmission Fasteners & Road Test.
This being said I cannot confirm if they actually replaced the Timing belts and Tensioning Bearings at this time. Since this service in 2006 the vehicle has only been driven 7,800 miles. I am happy to provide pictures of the carfax showing its service history.
When were the cam belts and tensioners last replaced?
