Now available for auction is this 1999 Porsche 996 Carrera 4 Coupe finished in Black over a Black leather interior. Factory optioned with Sport Suspension, PSM and a 6-speed manual transmission which sends power to all four wheels, this 996 offers performance that is sure to satisfy any discerning driving enthusiast. Showcasing factory 18” Turbo-look wheels and an aftermarket stereo system installed at a cost of approximately $6k, this 996 is now being offered in great overall condition by its seller in Arizona while showing 53k miles on the odometer.
The Black finish on this Carrera 4 is reported to be in very nice condition with the exception of some roadgoing wear and a small dent which is noted on the passenger side door (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Paint protective film has also been applied over the hood and front fenders. Factory 18” Turbo-look wheels are equipped which come dressed in older Michelin tires.
Inside, the Black leather interior is reported to be in excellent condition with all gauges and accessories working properly. An aftermarket sound system was installed at a cost of approximately $6k which includes Apple CarPlay and an integrated backup camera. The gauge cluster was replaced under the current ownership and additional noise insulation was installed throughout the cabin at the time of the sound system upgrade.
Power is derived from a naturally aspirated 3.4 L flat-six engine which is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. 296 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque is distributed to all four wheels making for a 0-60 time of approximately 5.2 seconds. Sport Suspension is factory equipped along with Porsche Stability Management (PSM) which provides for improved handling. All scheduled service is reported to be up to date with a recent oil change and brake fluid flush performed to keep the car in excellent driving order.
This sale will be accompanied by a set of 2 keys, owner’s books, a battery charger, car cover, spare tire, service records and a clean title. Whether you’re looking for a daily driver or a weekend sports car, this nicely presented Carrera 4 makes an excellent choice.

car is for driving and have fun on the road not to stay in a garage , you will not regret
@Txporsche thanks for the extra information regarding the IMS the car has been service routinely upgraded with CarPlay and soundproof
I have owned 4 911s including 2 996s. One 1999 C2 coupe for 10 years and currently a 2003 C4 Cab which has had the IMS replaced. The 1999s had a double row bearing so IMS is a non issue given routine oil changes.
This appears to be a good car and should be worth something in the high teens $$. A relatively inexpensive high quality sports car. The all wheel drive drives like its on rails.
These are very low maintenance cars. Live a little...Don”t die without having owned a 911.

@Matthew77 sorry about that no indication of failure
@C4MKN I own Porsches and Mercedes, like I was saying I had an 01, 996 w aerokit... I like that it's all wheel drive.
So ... Am I understand you correctly.... When oil change was done there was indication of ims failure? Or no indication of I'm failure?
Thank u
@Matthew77 not sure about the about single r double bearing, maintenance break fluid , steering fluid flush, oil change with that there is indication of IMs failure
With the car parked in garage battery wasn’t connected to charger so new electrical cluster
Are you interested or just looking? is a great ride handles really great on the road c4
Great car... Can you talk to me about maintenance please. I owned a 2001 with aero kit like the one that's on auction. Does it have double or single row bearing? Etc. And it's a true all wheel drive car? Matt thanks ...
@Matthew77 no , I took the car recently for maintenance specially that they can see any indicator of issues with it and everything is good no residues on oil
IMS gear done?

@Skindoc I do have the picture I will see if they can post for me
@C4MKN Apologies I didn't make that clear. There is a factory sticker, usually on the inside of the front hood or frunk. It has the manufacturing information and option codes listed. If you check other listings, most have a picture of this sticker, and a deciphering of the option codes. If I missed it in the photo gallery, again apologies.
@Skindoc not clear what you asking for
Option codes?
@cp0002 Unfortunately I did a big move year after my husband passed away and with good intentions friends help lots of things were missing so beside what is in car fax just couple of years .
The car mostly garage only driving on summer during PCA activities. Yearly oil change and most recently the 50k maintenance done .
How far back do the service records go?
Is truly a beautiful car and fun drive.
Beautiful example!
