Ferrari’s premier mid-engine sports car from 1994 until 1999, the F355 wears Pininfarina-designed bodywork over a steel monocoque chassis, which includes an electronically adjustable suspension, a limited-slip differential, and a 3.5-liter quad-cam V8 with five valves per cylinder. This final-year example is one of 1,053 Spider versions equipped with Ferrari's F1 automated manual transmission and comes finished in the rare shade of Bianco Avus over Beige Connolly leather upholstery. Benefitting from a full engine-out service in June 2024 at a cost of approximately $15k, this F355 Spider is now being offered for auction out of Maryland with under 16k miles showing on the odometer.

This example comes finished in the seldom-seen shade of Bianco Avus, contrasted with a black convertible soft top and boot cover. The F355 Spider’s bodywork was designed by Pininfarina with 1,800 hours of wind tunnel development for optimal aerodynamics. Details include prominent side air intakes, pop-up headlamps, a vented engine cover, an integrated rear spoiler, four circular taillights, and dual double-tipped exhaust outlets. It rides on 18” five-spoke magnesium wheels with Ferrari-branded center caps and older tires. The seller adds that front and rear paint protection film has been applied, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is appointed with Beige Connolly leather upholstery complemented by matching carpets and door panels, along with a contrasting black leather dashboard and four-spoke steering wheel. Accessories include steering column-mounted paddle shifters, analog Veglia Borletti instrument dials, drilled aluminum pedals, “355 F1” badging, Ferrari-branded door sills, automatic climate control, and power windows, mirrors, & door locks. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.

Power is provided by a mid-mounted 3.5-liter V8 DOHC engine, generating as much as 375 HP to the rear wheels through a paddle-shift F1 automated manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Vented disc brakes and black Ferrari-branded brake calipers are equipped at all four corners. The independent suspension incorporates unequal-length wishbones, coil springs, anti-roll bars, and electronically adjustable dampers with Comfort and Sport settings. The seller adds that an engine-out service was performed in June 2024, and the accompanying invoice will be included in the sale. Additionally, Tubi exhaust manifolds have been installed due to cracking of the original components.

This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, and two keys.

The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. My 1999 Ferrari has been a pleasure to own and drive over my ownership. The car has always been stored in my climate-controlled garage. All the maintenance is up to date, and the full engine out service was done in June of 2024. The car is completely stock except for the Tubi exhaust headers. The car is in exceptional condition and shape and is ready to hit the roads.”
