The E36 M3 is the second generation of BMWs venerable M3, combining race-inspired BMW Motorsport technology with everyday practicality and luxury. This 1999 example comes finished in Titanium Silver over a Dove Grey leather interior and features a sunroof. Acquired by the seller from the original owner in 2015, this example has undergone a host of tasteful upgrades including ground control coilovers with Bilstein shocks, a Shark Injector Stage 1 tune, an AFE cold air intake, Euro-style headlights and taillights, Recaro SPG XL race seats, and much more. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Tennessee while showing approximately 148k miles on the odometer.
This E36 is said to have been completely refinished in the factory-specified Titanium Silver paint color following minor damage to the driver-side panels noted in the CARFAX. It has been tastefully modified with Euro-style headlights, side markers, and taillights, along with 17” BBS RK wheels with Toyo Proxes T1 tires. The sale also includes a set of refinished OEM, staggered Style 23 wheels with Continental Extreme Contact Tires. Additionally, a wheel stud conversion was carried out, wheel spacers (5mm front/10mm rear) were installed, and all exterior moldings have been replaced. The seller notes some signs of road wear and the CARFAX report shows damage to have occurred in October 2020.
This E36 is appointed with a Dove Grey leather interior which has been modified with a pair of Recaro SPG XL racing seats with VAC Motorsports side mounts. Additional modifications include a Schroth Quickfit, 4-point racing harnesses, and a Renown USA 130R M-stripe steering wheel. Factory equipment includes a sunroof, cruise control, an onboard computer, and a Harmon Kardon Sound System. Minor signs of wear are noted, and the seller states the coolant level sensor will sometimes cause the check control to show “low coolant,” the check engine light sporadically appears due to an “EVAP” code as a result of the secondary air injector, and the airbag warning light is present due to the removal of the OEM steering wheel.
This E36 carries a naturally aspirated 3.2-liter S52 inline 6-cylinder engine which sends 240 HP and 236 lb.-ft to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller states extensive service history records dating back to 1999 will accompany the sale, and all fluids have been changed within the last year including oil, differential fluid, transmission fluid, and coolant. Some engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and chassis upgrades are listed below:
This sale will include a clean title, a complete set of OEM Style 23 wheels and tires, and additional spare parts including a VDO Complete Gauge Kit featuring oil pressure, oil temperature, and water temperature gauges, a Continental VDO radio, and two sets of replacement fog lights.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for your interest in my auction! I am the second owner of this M3 and have undertaken comprehensive maintenance, upgrades, and refurbishment of the car with the intent of creating the ultimate E36 M3 backroad carver. The car has been meticulously maintained and is a great example of the E36 M3.”

@john6857 - Yes, all the panels have the original VIN tags. There should be photos of them in the gallery.
It's really a great car and I hate to see it go, but time to let someone else enjoy it.
@a_donch Thank you for the transparency with the damages, doesn't look too bad. So all the panels have the original vin tags in place? And thanks for the list of parts!
@john6857 - Photos of the damage were just uploaded to the gallery.

@john6857 - No worries.
I will upload some photos of the damage shortly. It was basically a big scrape down the drivers side caused by a trailer with a tire mounted on the side, while the car was parked. I took the opportunity to get the car repainted in the original Titanium Silver Metallic, replace all the trim and it turned out great. All of the body panels are original, nothing was replaced.

Hey, love the car and will be bidding! Curious if you have an images of the accident, what stock parts would come with it and if there is a carfax available to view.
Thanks!
Hey PcarMarket! This is a great E36, M3. It has been lovingly restored and modified over the course of my stewardship of the car. Always garage kept and meticulously maintained. The car is located in Nashville, TN and I am happy to show any interested buyers and answer any questions. - Andrew
