Produced from 1998 to 2010 by Bentley Motors in Crewe, England alongside its Rolls Royce-branded counterpart, the Silver Seraph, the Bentley Arnage succeeded the Brooklands and is powered by a Cosworth-developed twin-turbocharged BMW M62 V8 engine. This 1999 Green Label example is finished in Black over a matching leather interior and features piano black wood trim, heated power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and more. This Arnage is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California showing less than 38k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Black, this Arnage features chrome trim, side moldings, and door handles. Other details include a chrome matrix front grille with a matching surround and flying ‘B’ mascot, green “B” emblems, a power antenna, and polished dual exhaust outlets. This Bentley rides on 20” aftermarket wheels wrapped in Continental ContiSport Contact 3 tires and the seller notes chips, dings, and blemishes around the exterior, along with a chip on the windshield, drilled holes in the front bumper, a scratch on the passenger side of the rear bumper, and some peeling finish on the driver’s rear wheel. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is upholstered in black leather with matching carpeting, and accented by piano black wood trim, and chrome touchpoints. Amenities include a power sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and power-adjustable front seats, an Alpine head unit, a leather headliner, and cruise control. The seller reports some creasing on the front seats, some wear on touchpoints, and a warped dashboard cover, as well as a loose and wrinkled headliner, a missing passenger-side trim panel in the trunk, and the hood and trunk struts are said to need replacement. It is also noted that the cell phone wire needs to be replaced, and the center console-mounted cup holder is inoperable.
Powered by a Cosworth-developed twin-turbocharged BMW 4.4-liter M62 V8 engine, the Arnage sends up to 349 HP and 420 lb.-ft. of torque to its rear wheels by way of a 5-speed automatic transmission. Standard performance equipment includes traction control, automatic stability control, an adaptive suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. The seller reports that the rear shocks feel stiff and recent maintenance includes an oil and filter change in May 2024 along with an inspection.
This sale will include the owner’s manual and a clean title.

@gcclassiccars could you please post it here for us to see details?
@myarnage @myarnage yes we have the original receipt for that, to summarize it looks like they checked engine, coolant, brake and fuel levels, tire pressure. Full inspection included: oil and oil filter change, lube all fittings on steering linkage, ball joints & drive shaft (s). Heck and correct all fluid levels to include power steering fluid, coolant, automatic transmission fluid, belts and hoses. Visually inspect battery. Brake fluid level checked. Check tire pressure, rotate tires. Tire inspection indicates - 10mm on Front and "like new", 10mm on the Rear and also "like new".
@seller If it is just unclipped could you have that fixed before delivery?
Bid in the amount of $5,000
@AutoAdventurer yes, it seems to have come unclipped.
Bid in the amount of $4,500
What’s going on with the dash in photo 110? Is it separating?
@myarnage We topped off the hydraulic fluid today and drove it around and it seemed to improve the ride, however still a little bit stiff. My guess would be it needs the spheres to be changed.
@gcclassiccars do you have a copy of the last service, 05/16/2024 37,646 Automotive City?
Bid in the amount of $3,250
@myarnage 1408 is the date code on the tires. They definitely need to be replaced.
what are the tire date codes?
@jslutzmd thank you, yes we did the videos on Sept 25, 2024 so very recently.
Nice videos. Could you tell me when they were put together? Was it within the last month?
@myarnage We will order the correct fluid and fill it up and see what happens. The check engine oil light will come on every so often even though the oil was changed very recently as shown in the receipt for work done prior to consigning with us. The hydraulic fluid light also comes on. Upon inspection, we have noticed fluid is low.
Bid in the amount of $3,000
if the fluid is just low, and not the actual accumulators, why not add a bit of fluid? are there any warning lights?
Bid in the amount of $2,500
No original wheels. The hydraulic fluid is low so it may be as simple as that to fix the rear shocks. The vehicle has been regularly serviced, also Carfax indicates services and records. Unfortunately the owner passed away and the family was only able to locate several recent services performed, none that indicate specifically the rear shocks.
@seller - Does the auction include the original wheels? Any idea what is causing the stiff rear shocks? Have they been serviced recently and by whom?

Even though the Carfax states 5 owners, this is actually a 3 owner vehicle. There is documentation of a sales contract from Comessa Motors with the same address as current owner. Title went from business name to owners individual name then he passed away and title went to his wife's name.
