Marking the final year of the air-cooled 911, this 1998 Porsche 993 Carrera S is among the rare and most desirable models of its generation featuring the wide bodywork of the 911 Turbo along with a unique split-grille rear decklid. Finished in Grand Prix White over Midnite Blue partial leather, this Coupe was first registered in Texas and came factory optioned with Motor Sound Package, 18" hollow spoke Technology wheels, an 8-way power driver's seat and more. Cared for by its third and current owner for the past 16 years, this Carrera S is now being offered for auction showing just over 42k miles on the odometer.
This Carrera S comes finished in Grand Prix White and shares its wide fenders and bumpers with the 911 Turbo. The car rides on factory exclusive 18” Sport Techno wheels come dressed in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires, the front of which were mounted in 2008 and the rears more recently in 2019 within the last 600 miles. The car has been garage-kept and always driven with a magnetic bra over the front end to preserve the paint. The seller notes the driver’s side door, front fender, and bumper were all previously refinished to address minor cosmetic damage. Some paint chips are also depicted on the driver’s side mirror, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Midnite Blue partial leather interior includes automatic climate control with air conditioning, remote entry with alarm, a sunroof, power windows, electrically adjustable side mirrors, and power seats.
Power comes from an air-cooled 3.6L flat-six engine sending as much as 282 HP to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Annual oil and filter service have been complete while under the current owner’s care as well as a scheduled 30k-mile service and a brake fluid exchange in December of 2020. An extensive collection of records is said to accompany the sale.

correction: why the front and rear parking lights are not illuminated on the passenger side of vehicle? Curious if electrical issue or just bulbs are out on the passenger side only? thanks in advance ...

Can we please get the color right on this listing? This car is not Grand Prix White it’s Glacier White. The only “white” offered for 1998 was Glacier White and the color code on the options sticker matches this “L3AU” Glacier White.
