This Canadian market 1998 Porsche 993 Carrera S Coupe represents the final model year of the air-cooled 911 and one of the rarest and sought-after variants of the 993 generation. Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Black leather upholstery, it features desirable factory options, including a 6-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), hardback Sport Seats, the Motor Sound Package, and lightweight hollow-spoke 18” Technology wheels. It was purchased new from Pfaff Porsche of Toronto in 1997 and remained with the original owner until 2004. This C2S was acquired by the last owner in 2020 and recently underwent services by an authorized Porsche dealer in preparation for sale, including new timing chain and cam cover seals. Showing approximately 60k kilometers or 37k miles on the odometer, this Carrera S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Quebec.
The 993 Carrera S features wide fenders, rockers, and bumpers from the contemporary 911 Turbo model, as well as a unique split-grille rear decklid. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and equipped with projector headlights, headlamp washers, fog lights, heated power mirrors, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, Porsche-branded brake calipers, and optional lightweight hollow-spoke 18” Technology wheels from the 911 Turbo. The seller notes the car’s paint is all original apart from the hood, and signs of age are present on the front-end paint protection film, which covers the partial hood, fenders, and full front bumper. The CARFAX report shows an insurance claim for damage in 2011, which is said to have resulted from a windshield replacement. Detailed images and paint meter readings are provided in the gallery.
The Black leather interior features optional electric height-adjustable hardback Sport Seats. A black leather three-spoke steering wheel, and black carpet floor mats with red Porsche lettering. Other accessories include power windows, a remote central locking system, automatic climate control, cruise control, the HiFi sound package, and a Porsche CDR-220 stereo. The seller indicates minor signs of wear on the driver’s seat.
Equipped with a Varioram intake, dry-sump lubrication, and a dual-exhaust system, the air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 282 HP to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle and an optional limited-slip differential. The car features an Automatic Brake differential (ABD), four-wheel disc brakes with fixed 4-piston rotors, a multi-link LSA rear suspension, and the optional Motor Sound Package, which adds a revised airbox and mufflers. Additionally, a lowered Bilstein suspension has been installed. The seller notes a full service was performed by Porsche Lauzon in 2025, including new timing chain and cam cover seals to address oil leaks. A corresponding invoice is provided in the gallery.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a tire inflator, two keys, service records, and a Quebec registration.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a collector-grade 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera S—fully reconditioned, freshly serviced, and original. Finished in the perfect color combination of Arctic Silver over Black, it features the highly sought-after leather hard-back sport seats. A true standout for any enthusiast or collector.”

@mlajoie what was the damage to the car from back in 2011? Thank you
@bidders
A second driving video has just been uploaded! The squeaking sounds in the original video were simply caused by the driver’s shoes — rest assured, this fine automobile is free of any such noises. You can confirm this for yourself in the new video.
Thanks for your continued interest and happy bidding!
@HelpMeHelpU Thank you so much, Doug! I’m really glad to hear you enjoyed your experience with us—it was a real pleasure working with you as well. Enjoy that exquisite Cayman R now that spring is finally here, and I hope you find room for this one too! 😉
Best,
Matt

Last fall I bought a car from this seller on PCarMarket. While I was a little skeptical at first buying a car from a dealer I didn't know in Montreal, I could not have been more impressed with every step of the transaction. Most importantly, the car exceeded my expectations.
My contact at the dealer was exceptional in every way and could not have been more accommodating.
I would not hesitate to buy another car ... or ten... from this dealer.
Though I no longer have room in my garage, or driveway, or bank account, for another great car, I can't resist the opportunity of buying another from the dealer. Here's a bid!
@550bryan FAR beyond the turbo……….
@Sam44 We deal with Medway imports out in Medway Massachusetts. Our main contact there is Barry. This Porsche is over 25 years old therefor the newly instated tariffs will not apply. That said the vehicle will be subject to a 3% import duty.

@rdickerson9826 the Bilstein shock absorbers were installed by the last owner in May 2023. The car was fitted with 4 brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires at the same time. I added the work order and invoice to the gallery.
Hi lovely car. Can you refer us to a source confirming that this car is not subject to a tarriff coming from Canada?
Bid in the amount of $81,000
@mlajoie Thanks for the smog info and per my other question which Bilstein suspension does this gorgeous and well-spec'd car have?
@rdickerson9826 this is a Canadian spec but it fully complies with EPA and Carb. Asides from daytime running lights and km/h speedometer, the Canadian version is identical to the US market examples. However I can’t guarantee it would pass California specific smog test. From what I read online it would most probably. That said bidders from California should confirm with their local department of motor vehicles.
@mlajoie One thing that I'm not sure about and maybe you can provide some enlightenment on is was the emissions spec for this car North America or Canadian i.e. I'm wondering how much of an ordeal it would be to pass a smog check in California? Also, what is the Bilstein suspension e.g. PSS10-B16?
Rare to find an S without 4 wheel drive, this will bring all the money. Desirability right up there with the turbo.
