Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Classic Grey leather upholstery, this 1998 Porsche 993 Carrera S Coupe is equipped with a 3.6-liter flat-six engine paired with a 4-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. It was originally sold in Missouri and came factory-equipped with the optional Motor Sound Package, 18” Technology hollow-spoke wheels, Tiptronic steering wheel shift buttons, a power sunroof, cruise control, and an 8-way power driver’s seat. The car spent time on the East Coast before it was imported to Canada in 2006. The current owner acquired this 993 in December 2022 and performed extensive refurbishments including a major engine overhaul, a rebuilt torque converter, new shock absorbers, rear toe arms, Fister mufflers, and upgraded Rennline tunable engine mounts. This C2S is now being offered for auction out of Ontario.
The Carrera S features wider fenders than a standard 993 Carrera along with Turbo-style bumpers, side skirts, and a model-specific split-grille rear decklid. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and equipped with optional 18” Technology hollow-spoke wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps. The Michelin Pilot Sport tires show 2021 production date codes. Other equipment includes power mirrors, headlamp washers, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes the headlamps and left-side taillight lenses were replaced under current ownership. The front bumper and driver’s side bumper rear were previously refinished and blended halfway up the hood and rear quarter panel. Noted imperfections include minor stone chips on the front bumper, a small ding above the driver’s side indicator light, a small chip on the passenger rear quarter panel, and a touched-up area below the passenger-side rear bumperette. The cabin is appointed with Classic Grey leather upholstery and matching carpets. Accessories include an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a four-spoke leather steering wheel with Tiptronic S shift buttons, a central locking system, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Blaupunkt cassette stereo. Under current ownership, the leather seats and steering wheel were repaired, the door and sunroof seals were replaced, and an aftermarket amplifier was installed.
Rated at 282 HP and 250 lb.-ft of torque, the air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers power to the rear wheels through a 4-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. The car was factory-optioned with the Motor Sound Package including a revised airbox and mufflers. It has been modified with Fister Stage 2 mufflers and Rennline tunable engine mounts. In 2023, a major engine overhaul was completed including polishing and balancing the crankshaft, rebushing and balancing the connecting rods, and replacing the rear main seal, bearings, rod bolts, bank 1 camshaft, lifters, cam chains, intake manifold, spark plugs, ignition wires, oil return tubes, and oil squirters. The torque converter was rebuilt, and the suspension was refreshed with new shock absorbers, mounts, bearings, and rear toe arms.
This sale will include owner's manuals, a battery charger, and a clean title.

I just uploaded the photos of the front and rear license plate brackets.
As well, regarding the refinished bumpers, in the gallery you will find the paint-depth readings for this car (Photos 295-309). As you can see, the paint depths are at their greatest at the meeting point with the bumper, and gradually decrease the further towards the cockpit you travel. For the touched-up area below the bumperette, that is seen in photo 76.
