Among the most sought-after models of the final air-cooled 911 generation, the 993 Carrera S offers the wide body styling of the 911 Turbo coupled with a naturally aspirated engine sending power to the rear wheels. This 1998 example represents the 993’s final model year and comes finished in Black over a matching leather interior. It was originally delivered in Canada and was factory-equipped with optional Aerokit front and rear spoilers, Sport Suspension (M030), Sport Seats, the Motor Sound Package, a limited-slip differential, and 18” Technology hollow-spoke wheels. The car has also been modified with RoW-spec springs, carbon fiber interior trim, yellow seatbelts, and a three-spoke 996 steering wheel. This C2S was acquired by its current owner in 2013 and is now being offered for auction out of Vancouver while showing just over 35k kilometers (approximately 22k miles) on the odometer.
Compared to a standard 993 Carrera, the Carrera S features wider fenders and bumpers derived from the contemporary 911 Turbo. This example is finished in Black and features optional Aerokit spoilers at the front and rear as well as optional 18” Technology hollow-spoke wheels. Other equipment includes an electric sunroof, dual exhaust outlets, headlight washers, power-adjustable mirrors, clear turn signal lenses, and black brake calipers with white Porsche lettering. The car’s ride height has been lowered with European-spec springs and the wheels are dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires sized 235/40 in front and 275/35 in the rear. The seller notes the exterior has been treated with ceramic coating and some rock chips are present around the fenders and behind the wheels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
The Black leather interior includes optional hardback Sport Seats with electric height adjustment as well as an updated three-spoke 996 steering wheel, aftermarket carbon fiber trim pieces, and yellow seatbelts. Other accessories include air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, a Becker-Porsche CDR-210 stereo, and custom black carpet floor mats with contrasting yellow binding and embroidered Carrera S logos.
Up to 282 HP and 250 lb.-ft of torque comes from an air-cooled 3.6-liter M64 flat-six engine featuring a VarioRam air intake system. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission with an optional limited-slip differential and Automatic Braking Differential (ABD). The car was factory-equipped with a stiffer Sport Suspension (M030) as well as the Motor Sound Package which adds a revised airbox and louder mufflers for a more aggressive tone. The seller notes approximately 8k kilometers have been added since their purchase in 2013 and a service was recently performed including fluid changes and a wheel alignment.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, two keys, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have during the auction as I will be checking in here regularly and monitoring my email as well so please do not hesitate to ask for any additional information. For American bidders, import to the United States is a relatively easy and straightforward process as the car is 25 years old and I’m happy to assist the winning bidder in this regard. Several different transport companies including TFX Transport and Linfoot Holdings can handle the border crossing/brokerage and safely transport the car to its final destination to make the process easy for the winning bidder. Happy Bidding. Cheers!”

@OverTexas911 It's eligible for importation to the USA with ease. We have brokers that can deal with all paperwork and transportation for a fee. It is 25 years old already.
Would the car be eligible to be imported? it has to be 25 years old no?

@Jeanaudet Yes for registered bidders only. You will have to register if you are interested in bidding for this car
Is it possible to speak and get some details on the history of the car?
@993nut How does it work, when I click on Contact seller it says : This is only available for registered bidders.
@yolo92 Thanks. Indeed a beautiful and nicely equipped example. 43 and 44 were taken at different times, hence the different km. Picture 44 shows the most recent km as it was taken just before the auction. Carbon inlays went on top of the original panels so they are still there. No original steering wheel and mats. Will take picture of rear seats and post soon. Tires are 10 years old but with good treads. Will need new tires if you are planning to use it as a driver. In my case, I have only driven 800 easy cruising km per year so they are fine.
@993nut beautiful car, some questions.. Can you share a photo of the back of the passenger seat? Why do photos 43 and 44 have different kilometers on the odometer? Do you have the original steering wheel + trim pieces + floor mats? What year are the tires dated? Compression test would be great too, hopefully you can get it in time. Thanks in advance!
Bid in the amount of $9,000
@bend356 I do not but will see if I can arrange for one given the short notice
Do you have any compression numbers on the car?
@993nut 25 years old I meant
@bend356 the car has been in storage most of the time and I have changed fluids every 2 years. The 800km per year over the last 10 years were driven after fluids change in the summer then put back to storage after. Most recent device record posted in pictures. I can arrange to have a broker do all documents and importation for you. Should be around $3k Canadian dollars. It’s 23 years old so the importation to the USA is straight forward. Cheers!
@Jeanaudet Please use contact seller option and we can get in touch. Thanks
Bid in the amount of $3,500
can we talk to you by phone ,what is your phone number
Were the parts taken off the car still available? Do you have compression numbers available? Looking at the carfax report it shows no service for a number of years, was the car serviced during that period and do you have the records? What would be the cost to get the car thru customs into the US?

@CarreraX From Rotec Carbon. Kit looks and feel very OEM and resembles Turbo S interior. Can be reversed back to stock easily.
Great looking car. Were all the carbon items purchased from Marcus in Germany or where were they sourced? GLWS. Beautiful!
