@Spokayman thank you!
The car has those features so you may be correct—- in addition to aluminum gauges...
The ren list forum has discussed the technic package on the 993 and the 996 and there has not been much consensus as to exactly what was included—- some additional research may be helpful but it has been discussed on the forum since 2007 several times without consensus.

FWIW, my understanding is that the Technic package on the 993 includes the Litronic headlights, headlight washers, and board computer. In other words it was an electrical option package and not a performance package.
Please chime in if I’ve got that wrong!
Bid in the amount of $108,000
@JWSobel I am pretty sure the Technic package includes the litronic lighting system and the colored gauges. For improved performance there was an P31 or P32 package that was a sport suspension. Regardless the car is beautiful good luck to the buyer. TD

@siabond26 thank you for your insight on this particular work and model as you will see from the options sticker this car has the technics package in addition to the motor sound package which results in some handling improvements and other minor additions such as aluminum faced gauges.
Thanks again

I have many friends who have vast collections of 993 4S and S with very rare color combinations which makes them highly desirable and more valuable. I really think this 4S with Glacier White over Midnight Blue has to be a very rare color combination because I have never ever seen this color combo anywhere. In my opinion I think this a very special and gorgeous looking 993 4S with super low mileage with the optional Motor Sound Package, which is a very important option to have. I’m sure all the avid 993 enthusiasts are aware this is definitely a very rare find and most likely a collector or a 993 enthusiast will end up buying this car. Good luck!
Additional photos have been added to the listing gallery.
Hi I sent the additional photos to Pcar but don’t see them????
PCar let’s post up some additional photos!
Ps the video link is good and shows coldstart air-conditioning and a fast lap around town.
I also want to comment that the leather in the car is excellent and has a superb dark blue patina—- I personally have maintained it with excellent natural products.
Thanks again and enjoy the video.

Hello all - We’ve just shot a video showing cold start (after sitting for a week), a few revs (fully warmed up) and a couple runs through the gears. https://youtu.be/pR8vRIn57DA This car is tight and drives beautifully. The shifts are buttery smooth, the clutch engagement is excellent. The OEM suspension still dampens very well, indicative of being driven mostly on flat roads for most of it’s life. The AC blows ice cold ??. Please feel free to ask any and all questions!

@AJSobel Hi we will upload the paint photos
Which are identical for each set of fenders doors.... etc. These 993’s were all hand built and the paint is within specs but varies slightly depending on vertical or horizontal panel.
Finally the car is all original and the PPF on the fenders is OEM and has some minor clouding or cracking not easily appreciated against the glacier white paint. We opted to leave original.
Thanks
Jws
@Wangta Yes, we’ve photos that will be uploaded.
Bid in the amount of $75,000
Got it - thank you. Will you also be able to provide any paint meter readings for each panel? Any chips on any parts? Also - I thought I saw some PPF on a few pics - or was that reflection?
@Wangta Good question from the Carfax you can see the original owner put the vast majority of miles 12,000+ and then the car went into collections —-infrequently driven ias the market appreciated. So in the last 4000 miles it’s got a lot of wash and wax and occasional driving. We had the car out today for a cold start video -air conditioning check -and general performance —-which was flawless— it really does drive like a new car!

Any info on the 6 previous owners? Seems like a lot for the mileage? Any story there?
Bid in the amount of $60,000
Prices on 993, including C4S and earlier air cooler cans have drop about 20% in the past 18 months.
This is a nice one.
Where was this car hiding when I was looking a few years ago. I LOVE Glacier White--it's spectacular, especially combined with the blue interior, as the glacier part of the white has blue hues.
Wow, what a car.
BTW, a car very similar to this one with just a thousand more miles sold, I believe on BaT, within the past 18 mos., for a good comp.
@JWSobel Understood. That’s why this type of conversation is best left offline. Let me do my research and get you some times.
@Pato hi!
POS inspection is fine with me, the two closest reliable and official experts are as mentioned Porsche of Stratham nh and
Blair Talbot’s.....
if you prefer a different inspection we will be glad to transport an equal distance for you!
let me know what you would like to do...
Thanks

Beautiful ride.. I have been looking for a twin grille 1997 / 1998 911 S for a while... not to many for sale in the states or Canada. Please let me know what else is in the collection.

@JWSobel @JWSobel, As a seller, choosing who can do a PPI renders end result void. That said, a list of three Rennlist, Pelican and PCA member options should be agreeable to any seller. It may even include seller’s go to expert. As for paying for a PPI, Buyer should pay for it and factor cost in offer. When seller wants to use such a document for marketing material, then seller should pay for PPI beforehand. Some gentlemen bidders are influenced by principle alone in certain circumstances. MHO
Bid in the amount of $30,000
@Pato Thank you
A PPI is fine either through the local Porsche Dealership Stratham nh
Or our local air cooled specialist is Blair Talbot Motors.
Both can do different levels of inspection with varying cost which you would be responsible for
We can deliver and pick up the car to them, but do require a copy of the inspection report as a courtesy to us.
Let me know JWS

@Pato Yes, it is the same car. We have requested the listing be removed...it was left up since our purchase in 2016. As you can see its been run less than 200 miles (done so on a regular schedule to keep things lubricated and running top) since purchase. We’d be glad to coordinate a PPI.
@Drdarryldds993 Thank you for the question. The split rear decklid was offered for the C2S models only. The 4S has the single piece decklid.
Is this car the one advertised through Top Gear Imports?
I would like to do a PPI. Please shoot me an email with your contact info.
Can you explain why the rear deck lid is not a split grill design and painted to match the body color? As a reference, like the black ‘98 for sale on this site.
Bid in the amount of $25,000
Hi!
Thank you for viewing one of the last 993 C4-S ever produced in July of 1997 and designated for sale as the last model year 1998 AND end of production for 993’s.
The car is in an all original accident free condition and drives like new!
I can personally attest that the C4-S drives and handles superbly and as a wide body is indeed different in feel and responsiveness. This car has been part of a small collection and has been stored in a radiant heated humidity controlled environment. Some additional photos and start up video is forthcoming as we wanted to get the listing up for the Fourth of July—- marking the 22nd birthday of this classic air cooled sports car.
Best, and good luck! JWS
