Now up for auction is this 1998 Porsche 993 Carrera 4S finished in Arctic Silver Metallic. Representing the final year of the air-cooled 911 as well as one of the most desirable models of the 993 generation, this 1998 Carrera 4S features the wide body styling, brakes, and all-wheel-drive system of the Turbo model while offering naturally aspirated performance from a 3.6L flat-six engine. This 993 was originally sold in Connecticut before spending time in California, Tennessee, and North Carolina. It came factory optioned with a rear window wiper and a Classic Grey partial leather interior with the Power Seat Package. Described to be very well preserved with just over 32k miles showing on the odometer, this C4S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida accompanied by its original window sticker and a binder of service records dating back to the original purchase.
The wide Turbo-derived bodywork of this 4S comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic, and the seller reports a ceramic coating to have been recently applied. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report, and a paint meter reading video is posted below. Red Brembo brake calipers are tucked behind the factory 18” Turbo-Look wheels which feature special “4S” center caps and Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
Inside, the driver is greeted by a highly original Classic Grey partial leather interior with matching carpet floor mats, a sunroof, automatic climate control, cruise control, the Power Seat Package, and an original Porsche CR-210 AM/FM cassette radio.
Among the last of the air-cooled 911s, this 993 Carrera 4S is equipped with a 3.6L flat-six engine featuring the Varioram resonant induction system. As much as 282 HP is distributed to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential and Automatic Brake Differential (ABD). The Carrera 4S was also equipped with the larger 4-piston Brembo brakes of the Turbo model along with a lowered suspension. A massive binder of service records is said to accompany the sale showing maintenance history dating back to the original purchase, and the seller reports no outstanding maintenance items at this time.
This sale will include a set of three keys with remote fobs, the original window sticker, service records, and a clean title. Perhaps the ultimate iteration of the air-cooled Porsche 911, this beautifully presented 993 Carrera 4S makes an excellent choice for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

@Roku12 great input , let us all know when you vacate your moms basement !
Grey interior and lack of underside pics held this one back. $138 is a great price but with black interior and photos of a perfect detailed undercarriage I bet this would be a $150 car!

@696 totally understand to any seller again that’s interested in the car even after winning the auction we can get the car inspected if needed under the buyers expense !
Allthings Porsche, I agree it looks nice. I personally have gotten used to underside pictures on online auction cars and have a low risk tolerance. Ive been mildly burned previously on a car that took some decent time and money to get sorted. I'm probably just jealous that I don't have the guts to bid without more pics. Good luck with sale
Bid in the amount of $122,500
@696 there’s absolutely no corrosion anywhere on this car , I wish you said something with a little more time to go , but to anyone interested in this car , we specialize in these cars and have sold 100s of 993 cars ? This one is as pristine and as well documented and original as we have seen !
No offense seller, but in most auctions ,underside photos on a 100k car are expected, especially when it was in the northeast. It looks like there is some mild corrosion in the engine bay, so it makes me wonder what the underside looks like. I might be interested in the car if better documented
@696 no one asked for them sir
No underside pics?
