The first AMG car to have been completely assembled at the Mercedes-Benz factory after AMG was acquired by Daimler-Benz in 1998, the C43 AMG was offered as the ultimate C-Class (W202) model featuring a sculpted AMG body kit, 17” AMG Monoblock wheels, and an AMG-tuned 4.3-liter V8 engine producing over 300 HP. This example is reportedly one of 1,125 examples produced for the U.S. between 1998 and 2000. It comes finished in Black over a matching Nappa Leather interior and is equipped with power-operated heated seats, a Bose sound system, a glass sunroof, and automatic climate control. Originally sold in Florida, this C43 AMG is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey while showing approximately 55k miles on the odometer.
This W202 is finished in Black (040) and features a sculpted AMG body kit including aggressive bumpers and side skirts. Other equipment includes chrome AMG-branded exhaust tips, power-adjustable mirrors, an electric glass sunroof, front fog lights, and 17” AMG Monoblock aluminum alloy wheels. The car rides on Continental ExtremeContact tires measuring 225/45 in front and 245/40 in the rear. The CARFAX report shows damage to the front and left of the car in September 2020 and the seller indicates the hood and bumpers were refinished along with the passenger-side door and front fender under prior ownership. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a full CARFAX report.
Inside, the cabin is appointed with black Nappa Leather upholstery and burl wood trim accenting the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Accessories include a leather-wrapped AMG steering wheel, white AMG-branded instrument dials, heated and power-adjustable front sport seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, a cassette stereo, and a trunk-mounted CD changer. The seller notes that the sunroof shade vent is missing.
An AMG-tuned 4.3-liter M113 V8 engine delivers up to 306 HP and 302 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of an AMG-modified 5-speed automatic transmission. The C43 features an independent double-wishbone front suspension, a multi-link rear suspension, and an upgraded braking system borrowed from the W210 E55 AMG. The seller indicates a brake fluid and coolant flush was performed in 2020 and an oil change was completed in 2022.
This sale will include a clean title.

@carpointautogroup Do you know whether it has the original main wiring harness or a replacement? As you probably know the original harness may "decompose" due to the materials used. Thanks in advance for your answer.
