Now available for auction is this 1998 Ferrari F355 GTB finished in Argento Nürburgring over black leather. One of the most iconic sports cars of its era, the F355 represented the flagship Ferrari of the late 1990s and went on to become one of their most successful models. Delivered new in Canada, this 1998 Berlinetta model features a desirable 6-speed gated manual transmission and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Michigan while showing approximately 54k kilometers (33,500) miles on the odometer.
This GTB is finished in the rarely seen color of Argento Nürburgring (101). Following rear-end damage reported on CARFAX in 2020, the rear bumper, grille, and engine cover are said to have been repaired and refinished. Additional images are provided in the photo gallery along with the CARFAX report. The F355s Pininfarina-designed bodywork features pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, side air intakes, and distinctive “Flying Buttress” rear pillars. The underside of its steel monocoque chassis utilizes a tubular rear subframe and an F1-inspired full underbody tray, designed to increase airflow and downforce. This F355 retains its factory 18” 5-spoke Cromodora wheels which are currently dressed in Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tires showing date codes from 2010.
Inside, the black Connolly leather interior features deeply bolstered sport seats and a 6-speed gated shifter assembly with a polished alloy shift knob. A black leather steering wheel sits ahead of analog Veglia instrumentation including a 200-MPH speedometer, a 10k-RPM tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Additional gauges in the center dashboard include fuel level, oil temperature, and an analog clock. Driver amenities include power windows, air conditioning, drilled aluminum pedals, and a factory AM/FM/cassette stereo with a Sony six-disc CD changer and a Clarion amplifier.
The F355 is powered by a high-compression naturally aspirated 3.5L V8 DOHC engine featuring 5 valves per cylinder, dry-sump lubrication, and a flat-plane crankshaft. It was factory rated at 375 HP and 268 lb.-ft of torque and allowed the F355 to reach 60 miles per hour from a standstill in as little as 4.7 seconds with a top speed of nearly 190 MPH. This Ferrari has been well-maintained over the last few years with recent invoices showing a full timing belt service, a complete valve service, new rear shocks, and a new clutch disc and flywheel, most of which were carried out by Ferrari of Ontario. Corresponding service records are provided for reference in the gallery.
This sale will include service records, a factory toolkit, and a clean title. With its considerable maintenance history, understated color combination, and gated 6-speed manual transmission, this F355 may very well be the vintage Ferrari you have been searching for.

@LaserGuru
immobilizer works fine---
2 keys 2 fabs 1 red 1 black
All pin codes are in factory original books ,tools are all there as well as the car cover
Thanks,
Mark
@Markkj Oh, BTW, does the damn immobilizer work properly? All three fobs (1 Red, 2 Black)? PIN code? Radio code? 2 Original factory keys? Tools, books, etc? I've had to have an immobilizer reworked to extract the PIN and recode an old fob as well as get a new red one. That system would try the Pope's patience!!
@Markkj Thanks for the info. Last major (belts & tensioner) was Nov '18. Included water pump at that time. Original headers and cats. Sooooo, within year 1 after purchase she'll need an engine out major, replacement headers (30k miles is pushing it on the OEM headers for these lovelies) and likely new cats. I'm factoring all that in as I'm quite interested in the beastie. Love the full lines of the Berlinetta.
Happy 4th everyone

Hi Mark,
Do you have photos of the accident damage before it was repaired? I don’t see an invoice/summary for the accident repair, is that available? If not, do you know who performed the accident repair?
Hello,
