Available for auction is this 1998 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible finished in Torch Red over a black leather interior. The fifth generation of Chevrolet's Corvette was available from 1997 through 2004 and was the first GM vehicle to utilize the small block "LS" engines. This 1998 example was originally delivered by Doug Chevrolet of Akron, Ohio, and is believed to have remained in Ohio until being acquired by its current owner out of Florida in October 2021. It came factory equipped with Continuously Variable Real Time Damping, adjustable Sport leather bucket seats, and a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 engine which has been fitted with a Magna Charger roots-style intercooled supercharger. This Corvette is now being offered for auction showing approximately 14k miles on its odometer.
The C5 generation of the Corvette uses a hydroformed box frame which provides improved structural rigidity, particularly on convertible models. This C5 is finished in Torch Red with a power retractable convertible top soft top in black. Details include a cowl-style hood to accommodate the supercharger, pop-up headlights, fog lights, a chrome-finished quad-exit exhaust system, and body-colored taillight louvers. It rides on a set of staggered diameter 17″/18″ polished multi-piece Z06-style wheels dressed in Goodyear Eagle tires from 2021.
The cabin is upholstered in black leather and is equipped with power-adjustable Sport bucket seats. Amenities include a premium Bose AM/FM/CD stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, and more. The seller has provided a copy of the original window sticker and it is available for reference in the gallery.
Power comes from a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 engine which was upgraded by Autodynamics of Akron, Ohio, in March 2005 with a Magna Charger roots-style intercooled supercharger, DynaTech Supermaxx headers with catalytic converters, a Corsa catback exhaust system, an upgraded fuel pump, and 42lb. fuel injectors. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs, and the optional Continuously Variable Real Time Damping suspension is equipped. The CARFAX report shows 10 service history entries dating back as far as 1997, and the seller notes that the ABS module does not function and that the Traction Control and ABS warning lights are present.

@20109972 this was a clerical error made by Auto Dynamics which installed the supercharger. I have a picture of the title from a year before the supercharger was installed which states the mileage at 7,324. I'm going to see if I can get the photo uploaded for you. Thank you
Any ideas on the supercharger receipt indicating mileage in as 23,561?
