The second-generation BMW M3 was launched in 1992 based on the E36 3-Series and debuted in the United States in 1995. The E36 M3 is widely admired for its responsive handling, dynamic chassis balance, and communicative steering. This 1998 example comes finished in Alpine White over a Mulberry leather interior and features a 5-speed manual transmission along with upgrades including a South Bend Stage 2 clutch, a single-mass flywheel, Koni shock absorbers, H&R springs, a MOMO steering wheel, an LTW-style front lip, M-Tech fabric trim, and an Active Autowerke catback exhaust. Having spent much of its time in California, Ohio, and New York, this reportedly garage-kept M3 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida showing approximately 148k miles on the odometer.
This M3 comes finished in Alpine White paint and rides on 17" Style 22 wheels wrapped in Falken Azenis 510 tires from 2021. Modifications include a Turner Motorsport LTW ABS front lip, yellow-tinted fog lights, clear headlights and turn signals, side indicators, and tail lights. The seller reports a small dent under the driver's side taillight and minor paint imperfections ahead of the driver's side door handle and rear bumper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing damage in December 2007.
The cabin presents Mulberry leather upholstery and a power sunroof. Modifications include a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel, an M-Tech fabric handbrake boot, rear parcel shelf, and shift boot, and an Alpine head unit and speakers. Factory features include cruise control and an onboard computer. The seller reports the airbag warning light is present due to the aftermarket steering wheel, and the ASC is permanently turned off.
The E36 M3 equips a 3.2-liter inline-six engine factory rated at 240 HP and 236 lb.-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. Modifications include a South Bend Stage 2 clutch, single mass flywheel, Bavarian Autosport high-performance ignition coils, and many Mishimoto cooling system components (radiator, shroud, electric fan, overflow tank, water pump, and thermostat), Koni yellow shock absorbers paired with H&R springs and end links, and an Active Autowerke catback exhaust. The seller adds that recent maintenance items include an alignment, transmission and differential fluid flush, and a tune-up performed at 146,000 miles.
The sale will include a clean title, a window sticker, and owner's manuals.
The seller would like you to know: "This is a great example of an E36 M3 that you can truly enjoy, drives great, pulls through the rev range, has a great sounding straight 6, excellent handling, it’s something that you can enjoy on a daily basis or on the weekends when you’re feeling nostalgic."

Hey would love to get in contact with the owner of this vehicle ! Very interested in the car and I’m also located in FL
@AndrE36 I agreed with You seller, not needed to research over some minor stuff, could be maybe minor issues and people whoever owned before tried to benefits from insurance policy reporting... who cares , as long the car is clean the rest is just pain in the butt carfax reports . I would definitely partecipate ln this car if i didn't have many cars to sell it! Good luck with this beauty!
@Driveresq honestly, I wish I could comment about it. I’ve search the car, high and low cannot find any paint lines, and it appears that the major body components are OEM I would assume whatever damage it is, was very minor
Beautiful Car !
