We are pleased to present this low-mileage 1997 Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet 6-speed presented in Slate Grey Metallic over a black partial leather interior. A lifelong California car, this 1997 example is said to have been kept in pristine condition while remaining all-original. Having undergone a recent major service, this 993 Cabriolet shows only 22k miles on the odometer and is accompanied by a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and extensive documentation.
The rarely seen Slate Grey Metallic on this 993 is said to remain in exceptional condition along with the factory black cabriolet top (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). This 993 rides on factory 17” Cup Design wheels which come dressed in new Continental tires.
Inside, this Carrera is appointed with a black partial leather interior that has clearly been extremely well-kept. Factory options include a 6-disc remote CD changer, Hi-Fi Sound Package, heated front seats with driver's side lumbar support and a factory Porsche windstop. There have been no modifications made and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.
This 993 carries an air-cooled 3.6 L flat-six engine which was revamped for higher output during the 1996 model year. 282 HP is sent to the rear wheels by way of a numbers-matching 6-speed manual transmission making for a 0-60 time of approximately 5 seconds. The included service records and Carfax report show consistent maintenance throughout the years. The seller also notes that a recent major service was carried out and the car remains in excellent running condition. Receipts will be included with the sale.

Noticed on repair invoice from Koncept Motorwurks (#200797) dated 9.19.2018, recommended the following:

3. Timing chain housing
4. Seat switches

@c2silver @c2silver. Will go and photograph your requested items this afternoon.. This car has ZERO mechanical issues and has been serviced religiously since new. If there was any issue with the car I would a. never bought it b. fully disclosed to PCAMARKET. This car is in need of nothing cosmetically or mechanically other than (if the new buyers wants perfection) repaint the front rubber cap due to minor stone chips. Car is magnificent in all aspect. Thanks for your inquiry and will send the pictures to PCARMARKET later today for uploading.
If possible, would like to see picture(s) of underneath the engine area. Looking for any oil leaks from value cover gaskets, cam housings, and chain housings.
Also, has there been any issues with this vehicle concerning rapidly wearing valves guides and clogged secondary air injection ports now or in the past (993's are known for these issues)?
Would also like to see paint meter readings on lower half of front truck. Your video only shows readings about half way down.
