This 1997 Porsche 993 Turbo was originally sold in Canada and came factory-equipped with optional painted hardback Sport Seats, the Exclusive Carbon Fiber Interior Package, and aluminum instrument dials. It features a host of upgrades and modifications including Turbo S-style rear fenders with air scoops, a GT2-style rear wing, a custom front bumper, 18” three-piece wheels, JRZ coilovers and a rebuilt 3.8-liter engine with twin-plug heads, dual fuel injectors per cylinder, a custom fabricated intake plenum, Borg Warner K26 turbochargers, and an aftermarket intercooler, exhaust, and ECU. It was imported to the U.S. in 2003 and has since spent time in Florida, California, Arizona, and Virginia. This modified 993 Turbo is now being offered for auction out of New York with approximately 31k kilometers or 19k miles on the odometer.
This 993 Turbo was refinished in Polar Silver Metallic from its original Arena Red Metallic color and has been modified with Turbo S-style rear fenders with integrated air scoops as well as a fixed GT2-style rear wing with functional air intakes. Other details include aftermarket side skirts, a custom front bumper with an integrated spoiler, red brake calipers, carbon fiber mirror covers, a “Turbo S” rear model designation, a rear window wiper delete, and dual aftermarket tailpipes. It rides on a set of aftermarket 18” three-piece wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps and Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires. A CARFAX report is provided in the gallery showing the vehicle was stolen in August 2006 and recovered the same month.
Inside, this 993 features a Marble Grey Leather to Sample (99) interior featuring factory-optional heated and power-adjustable Racing Style Sport Seats with painted body-color backrests. Other factory options include the Exclusive Carbon Fiber Interior Package, metal door sills with Turbo model insignias, aluminum instrument dials, a carbon fiber and leather-covered steering wheel, and carbon fiber and aluminum inlays for the shifter and brake handle. Modifications include red seatbelts, an aftermarket boost controller, drilled aluminum pedal covers, a radio delete cover, a Stack Ltd tachometer, and a Stack Ltd boost pressure gauge mounted in place of the clock (relocated to the center console). The seller notes some scuffs are present on the driver’s seatback, a bolt-in roll cage was previously installed, and the original carbon fiber trimmed steering wheel was been custom refurbished. The rear seats are included with the sale.
The twin-turbocharged flat-six engine has been rebuilt to a 3.8-liter displacement and modified with upgraded internals, twin plug cylinder heads, a custom fabricated intake plenum, an aftermarket ECU, and quad fuel rails for dual fuel injectors per cylinder. It also features upgraded twin Borg Warner K26 turbochargers, twin SARD blowoff valves, an aftermarket intercooler, and an aftermarket exhaust system with headers and dual external wastegates. All four wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission modified with an external oil cooler. The suspension includes adjustable JRZ coilovers and upgraded sway bars. The seller indicates an oil and filter change was completed along with a general inspection in preparation for sale.
This sale will include a clean Arizona title and a Porsche Production Specifications Certificate.

@ClayMan no
Further to a nebulous comment below, does the car have working cabin heat and A/C?
@CJWRacing33 yes there are some documents. We’re gonna be posting up shortly. One of the companies that did work on the car no longer does that stuff anymore. They actually got contracted and work for NASA now I’ll try to find the name of that company as well.
do we have any indication of the shop in AZ that did the work? Evo? Protomotive? Patrick? etc
@JoeFab hi no don’t have any other parts, I bought it like this so what you see is what you get, I’ll check and see if I can find the company the previous owner bought it from
Do you have any of the original 993 Twin Turbo parts that came with the car. For example 993TT left and right headers with heat boxes, 993TT left/right oem catalytic converters, 993 TT rear mufflers, 993TT oem intercooler ?
It’s cool but the 993TT car running straight pipes from each turbo to the rear bumper so essentially the exhaust is IMSA Porsche circa 1996/1997 GT2 EVO IMSA race style. There is NO cockpit heat with the exhaust set-up on the car. Personally i like it but would i would like to make changes . What company in Arizona did all the work? Any receipts ?
Absolutely awesome in every single way, and I wish I was a buyer. GLWTA!
@ClayMan I purchased a car like this from the widow, whose husband died it was already painted. It is in excellent condition. He spent a fortune on it, The paint is pristine, so I didnt want to repaint it or do anything.
Why did you repaint it? Have any of the body panels been replaced?

@zachlangan thanks for the insight and positive words!!
Stunning 993 Turbo. I didn't see any details for the wheels in the listing description... they're 3-piece, forged FVD/Work Brombacher wheels and perfectly suit this car. They were originally produced by German company FVD and created specifically for Porsches to work with OEM lug bolts and center caps. FVD eventually licensed Brombacher to Work Wheels, where they're made in Japan alongside their other forged 3-piece wheels they've been making since the 1970's. So wheel parts are still available and there's not a better, more solidly constructed wheel for the price. Look great on the Turbo. It's obvious a lot of thought was put into this build. GLWA
Hi, I just wanted to give a quick rundown on the car. I am a collector and Porshe enthusiast. This is by far one of the most amazing cars I’ve ever had. I’ve had probably over 50 of these 993 turbos, and this one is just on another level. I actually just recently did a cross-country trip in this car. About 4000 miles car perform flawlessly, shifts like butter and handles amazing, it can be a daily driver or a track monster, or whatever the driver desires there is a manual boost gauge I usually keep it on 1 that’s fast enough for me, but you can boost it all the way up to 6 it produces around 700 hp if anybody’s feeling frisky but overall absolutely amazing build, the car is in excellent condition. No leaks whatsoever, dry as a bone which is very rare on these cars. I purchased the car from a widow in AZ whose husband died. Was informed that he put well over $150,000 on The build alone, just to give you an idea, but there was definitely no expense spared on this car really overall absolutely amazing masterpiece, if anyone has any questions. Feel free to reach out. You can direct message me or ask them on the comment section here. thanks for the strong start and thanks again for viewing, the next owner of this car will absolutely fall in love with this thing! I know I did!
