We are pleased to present this 1997 Porsche 993 Turbo finished in black over a black leather interior. Representing the final generation of the air-cooled 911 as well as the first all-wheel drive Turbo, this 993 is ideal for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Showing to have been extremely well taken care of throughout its life, this Turbo features front-end paint protection film and a full-application of ceramic coating. This 993 was previously listed on PCARMARKET and due to the winning bidder not fulfilling his obligations, it is now being auctioned in exceptional condition by its seller located in New York.
The seller states that this Turbo shows as a vehicle that was stored in a collection. An application of Xpel paint protection film covers the front bumper, hood, quarter panels and rockers along with a full application of ceramic coating. A collection of detailed images is provided in the photo gallery along with recent paint meter readings, although front-end readings may be irregular as a result of the clear protective film. Standing approximately 60 millimeters wider than a standard 993, the Turbo features a revised front valence, widened fenders and a distinctive rear spoiler based on the classic “Tea Tray” design. This 993 rides on factory 18” chrome “Turbo Twist” wheels which are currently dressed in healthy Bridgestone Potenza tires.
Inside, this 993 is appointed with a black leather interior that features electric comfort seats and a rare OEM upgraded center console with phone. Factory options include a Porsche CR-210 cassette radio, a rear window wiper, the Porsche sound system, Litronic Bi-Xenon headlights with cleaning system, power windows and an onboard computer. The cabin is noted to be in superb condition and the seller confirms all gauges and electrical components to be fully functional.
This 993 is equipped with an air-cooled 3.6 L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine rated at an impressive 408 HP. All four wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission providing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4.4 seconds. A set of tasteful H&R lowering springs are equipped giving this Turbo a more aggressive stance and increased handling capabilities. Included service records show routine maintenance and the seller notes that the passenger-side turbocharger was recently replaced following a minor scrape which occurred in the seller’s driveway. With a fresh full service carried out by Autosport Design, this Turbo is stated to be in fantastic driving condition.
The sale of this highly desirable 993 Turbo will include a set of 3 keys, the original books and tools, service records, a spare tire, air compressor and clean Carfax report. Featuring a classic understated configuration while remaining in exemplary condition inside and out, this 993 Turbo is not to be overlooked.

Some added info in response to TRacer:
Although there were about 5800 1996 and 1997 993 turbos produced in the world combined, there were only just above 1000 1997's that were brought to the US. Articles have stated that only about 65% of those are still on the road. Both are great cars in any collection.

@mlazar Also, of course, all ppi's are welcome
@Cgt000 The car did not have a ppi. It was photographed at PCARMARKET headquarters with multiple paint readings as well. Higher paint readings are on the areas of paint protection film. No stories here, just a beautiful example of a rare classic, last year of the air cooled turbo.
The car sold and unfortunately the winning bidder did not have the funds to complete the purchase, so some other lucky person will own this rare classic beauty. Please, serious bidders only!
Bid in the amount of $45,000
Was there a ppi done on the car?
