Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Black upholstery, this 1997 Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its air-cooled 3.6L flat-six Varioram engine. It was also configured with the Motor Sound Package, a 6-disc CD changer, a sunroof, cruise control, and more. Acquired by the second owner and current seller in 2001 at approximately 10k miles, it has been meticulously serviced since and is now being offered for auction out of Connecticut with fewer than 88k miles showing on the odometer.
This 993 is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and fitted with 17″ Cup II wheels. Equipment includes a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, headlight washers, fog lights, and power-adjustable mirrors. Additionally, LED headlights have been installed and the ride height has been lowered. The seller notes minor road wear, and the front bumper, driver-side front fender & quarter panel, sunroof, and rear bumper have been refinished. In 2019, the engine was removed for a top-end rebuild, which included replacing the spark plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap, all top-end gaskets and seals including piston rings, and the rear main seal & intermediate shaft bearing seal. The cylinder heads were resurfaced, and the steering rack and front tie rods were replaced. A suspension refresh was completed in 2022 with new Bilstein shocks, struts, and springs for both the front and rear. In 2024, the clutch, clutch release arm, clutch fork, and both the clutch master and slave cylinders were replaced. The seller also reports annual oil changes.
This sale will include a clean title and service documentation.
The seller would like you to know: “Car drives great very sad to sell thought I would own forever, just purchased a 2021 992 and do not have room in my garage for two.”
