Now available for auction is this 1997 Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet presented in Glacier White over a Midnight Blue leather interior. Denoting the final generation of the air cooled 911, this 993 sports exclusive factory options including color-matched wheels and center caps, pleated leather seats and a 6-speed manual transmission with limited slip differential. Reported to be in fantastic driving order with some noteworthy recent service items, this 1997 example is now being offered for auction by its seller in South Carolina with approximately 46k miles showing on the odometer.
Having been garage kept, the Glacier White finish on this 993 is said to be in great shape with minimal stone chips on the front end (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). The door handle gaskets have been recently replaced this year along with the front windshield, and the seller indicates that the front bumper was replaced and professionally painted following a recent cosmetic incident which is noted on the Carfax report. Unique details include a basket handle rear spoiler and original 17” wheels which feature factory Glacier White painted spokes and center caps. These wheels come dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires that were installed at 39k miles with a new rear passenger-side tire installed again at 40k miles.
Inside, the cabin is appointed with Midnight Blue leather as well as pleated leather front and rear seats. The interior is stated to be in very good condition for its age with a few minor signs of wear and all gauges, electrical components and accessories remaining fully functional. New horn bushings have been installed and the seller notes that the module for the windshield wipers, cruise control and turn signals has been replaced as well. This 993 also highlights the following factory specifications:
An air cooled 3.6 L flat-six engine sends 282 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission with a factory optioned limited slip differential (40%). 0-60 is achieved in as little as 5 seconds while reaching a top speed north of 170 MPH. All routine service is said to be up to date with a new battery installed in 2018 and new belts installed in October of 2019. After a check engine light appeared earlier in 2020, this 993 was brought to an authorized Porsche dealership for a professional exhaust port carbon cleaning, new gaskets and an exhaust flow test which corrected the error. The seller has indicated the left front shock to exhibit some minor seepage, although this 993 is said to be in otherwise excellent driving condition with all routine maintenance up to date including a recent oil change and brake fluid flush.
The sale of this 993 will include a set of 2 keys, books, tools, an air compressor, tonneau cover and service records dating back to 2008. Do not miss out on your opportunity to get behind the wheel of this tastefully configured 993 Cabriolet.

Actually only 3 owners. First title was transferred from corporate to private by first owner.
@jefrank I've enjoyed it & never had a problem. Gets noticed where ever I go.
Looks nearly identical to my 1995 Cab 4 (except for the wheels). Great car.
