Being offered is this 1997 Porsche 993 Carrera S Coupe. The black exterior is elegantly matched with a two-tone tan and black interior that shows to be in above-average condition as seen in the gallery. Some nice extras include factory 18” “Hollow spoke” wheels and a Turbo-S style front lip. This 993 is equipped with a normally aspirated flax-six engine producing 282 HP and 250 lb-ft Torque. The seller shares that this was a fabulous driving 993, which gave him many miles of enjoyment. No mechanical modifications seem to be present on this stock well sorted 68k mile example.
The Carfax report shows no indication of any accident or damage history. The owner was forthright while describing his vehicle by explaining that he was aware the vehicle did have some paintwork. A meter test confirmed his claim and shows that the driver side and hood have been painted. A professional inspection confirmed that no panels were removed or replaced and that the paintwork appears to have just been for cosmetic reasons. A small chip on the rear bumper and a scuff on the front bumper are reported to be the only flaws to speak of. It was also noted that there might have been a roll bar installed inside the vehicle at some point. The Carfax report is shown in the gallery below and does outline 24 service history records.
Respected New York Porsche specialist Formula Motorsports preformed the following work within the last 7k miles:
- All new rotors and pads, and sensors
- New alternator
- New clutch
- New compressor
- New engine belts
- Replaced shroud
The 993 is a very special Porsche for many reasons, however, it gets the most notoriety for being the very last air-cooled 911 produced. For the US, the C2S is one of the rarest versions produced and was the only rear-drive model available with the turbo body. Bespoke to the C2S is the unique painted Twin-Grill that pays homage to the 356. There were also a number of unique interior details found on the C2S that separated this model from the others. Items include; Carrera S tachometer stamp, dark gray gauges and bezels, shifter and handbrake handle, and special trim on the dash and door panels.

Hi I'm the owner - we missed 2 things on the original post which will be updated soon + photos.
1. There is a small imperfection on the odometer glass. Photo coming.
2. The car has the motor sound package.
@ Ruel, yes my records indicate the car was with Abreu for a brief time. It did have a roll bar installed which indicates it was on a track at some point. However, there have not been ANY engine modifications. It's stock and in very solid condition. And seats are original. I'll be uploaded a few more photos in reference to more info that was left out of the original post. Thanks for your interest!
I do love the split grill and front aero kit combo. Car sits very pretty
I believe Abreu Motors out of Indiana had this car a few years back for sale. Maybe 4-5 year ago. Im trying to recall but wasnt this once upon a time a track car? Previously owned by a PCA member/ instructor? Had a roll bar and a bunch of engine mods? It had after market seats but came with the org. as well. Is this the same car Im remembering ?
@Mullski - thanks for the bid! I'm the owner. There is no damage from the roll bar being installed. I will see if I can get more interior and seat photos uploaded.

I would like to see more photos of the interior, especially seat condition and if there was previously a roll bar, is there any damage?
I'd recommend NOT taking pictures of a car while it is sitting in a snow/ice/slush slurry.
I love the color combo, rear spoiler and S type model.
The 993 is possibly the best of the air cooled cars built. Love it!
