Created by Porsche’s Exclusive Department as the final air-cooled 911 Turbo, the Turbo S was intended to be the ultimate 911 of its day with additional luxuries, special equipment, and a more powerful twin-turbocharged flat-six engine. This 1997 example is one of only 345 produced in total and comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Leather to Sample interior in Can Can Red. A true collector's item and an excellent investment opportunity, this rare Turbo S is now being offered for auction out of Florida with under 2k miles showing on the odometer.
The Turbo S is characterized by unique 959-style air intakes integrated into the rear fenders as well as Aerokit II front and rear spoilers, quad exhaust outlets, titanium-colored model lettering, and Speed Yellow painted brake calipers. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and remains preserved by a layer of clear paint protection film over the hood, front bumper, fenders, and mirrors. The factory 18” hollow-spoke wheels come fitted with model logo center caps and original Bridgestone Potenza tires.
Inside, the Turbo S features leather upholstery covering nearly every plastic surface as well as carbon fiber trim spanning the instrument panel, dashboard, door handles, gear knob, and handbrake lever. The Turbo S also receives special silver instrument dials with chromium-plated bezels along with colored seatbelts and silver “Turbo S” script embroidered into the folding rear seatbacks. This example showcases a Can Can Red Leather to Sample interior and includes optional leather-edged floor mats with Porsche script, self-dimming mirrors, and a rain sensor.
The air-cooled 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine provides an output of up to 424 HP and 423 lb.-ft of torque. The Turbo S achieves an increase of 16 HP and 25 lb.-ft of torque over the standard 993 Turbo using a factory Powerkit with larger K24 turbochargers, an additional oil cooler, and a modified control unit. The Turbo S also comes from the factory with a 15mm lowered sports suspension as well as reinforced shock towers. All four wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The seller reports there are no outstanding service items and has supplied a collection of maintenance records which are provided for reference in the photo gallery.
This sale will include a clean title, the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and a clean title.

@aspenburghound you don't have to presume. As we have said more than ones, everything in this car (including the paint) is in original condition
@gotspeedmotorsports it is impossible to determine whether a car has had paint work from pictures as you well know. I presume that you are representing this car as 100 percent original paint?
Can I see a picture of the Carbon Fiber Strut Bar? This part is NO Longer Available. If you already posted picture, my mistake
Thanks
@aspenburghound we don't have a paint meter available but you can see from the pictures no paint job was ever made, this car has always been inside and only been driven 1700 miles
Any paint meter readings ? Question has been asked before
For whatever its worth we owned this car before , it is absolutely beautiful !!

Am I missing something here ? Shouldn’t this car be double the price of $250,000 ?
How old are the tires??
Thank you.
Bid in the amount of $250,250
Either the carpet in the trunk is put in incorrectly, or the strut tower brace is missing. You might want to post an updated pic that shows the trunk with the carbon Turbo S brace.
Bid in the amount of $250,000
@Vahamiryan Right - it's a 'retirement plan' car. Belongs in the Porsche museum because who would put any miles on it? Some collector might see an upside with this car but it's a way's down the road (of life).
@tampabaysportscars No paint work
Does the car show any paint work?
Bid in the amount of $125,250
