Finished in Aventurine Green Metallic over Classic Grey leather, this 1996 Porsche 993 Turbo marks the final air-cooled 911 generation and features factory-exclusive aluminum and stainless-steel trim pieces. Also showcasing 19” RUF-branded wheels and a pair of upgraded K24 GT2 turbochargers, this 993 is now being offered for auction by its owner out of Connecticut showing approximately 62k miles on the odometer.
This 993 comes finished in the desirable 1990s Porsche color of Aventurine Green Metallic and is distinguishable as a 911 Turbo by its wide fenders, bumpers, and distinctive rear spoiler. Exclusive stainless-steel tailpipes were optioned from the factory and the car rides on a set of aftermarket 19” RUF-branded wheels dressed in Yokohama Advan Sport tires. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing front-end damage to have occurred in 2007.
The Classic Grey leather interior includes optional supple leather seats and factory-exclusive stainless steel door entry guards as well as aluminum-look instrument dials and aluminum inlays for the shifter and brake handle. Aftermarket stainless steel pedal covers have been installed along with an updated three-spoke steering wheel. The original Porsche CR-210 radio remains in place and the seller reports all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.
The air-cooled twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six engine sends up to 408 HP and 398 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Stopping power is derived from fixed 4-piston aluminum “Big Red” Brembo brake calipers paired with cross-drilled rotors front and rear. The dynamic Active Brake Differential (ABD) and a limited-slip differential are also equipped as standard. The seller states upgraded GT2-spec K24 turbochargers have been fitted and the CARFAX report shows a service visit at Porsche of Fairfield in 2017 at 62,837 miles.
This sale will include a clean title.

Such a beautiful 993 turbo with a very unique and rare gorgeous color. The 993 turbo is the pinnacle and the top tier of the 993 generation and it’s extremely desirable. GLWS.
By the way, the 19” RUF wheels are now worth $10K.

@kcarz Hi The Turbo was Replaced for more Performance
the accident was Minor front bumper only
the car was sitting in the garage
for the Carfax shows 65*** for sure or CArfax error or the person put the number wrong
@emegatronic did you retain any of the original parts — wheels, steering wheel, turbos? We’re the turbos replaced because the originals failed?
Any more details on 2007 accident would be helpful. What happened what was replaced?
Lack of service records from 2010-2017 seems odd on the carfax, did you just not renew registration for a while? Not familiar with CT. Do you have any service records?
The carfax shows 65xxx miles at the latest pep boys alignment— guessing that was an error? Are you able to sort that out with them and carfax? I’m guessing when it transfers carfax might flag this as mileage discrepancy if so.

@sy308 Zero Leak for the Engine and Only Liqui Moly Oil Brand
Never on Track or Race
Clutch Brand New
I would like a better photo of the build sticker in the front storage area in order to read the factory codes better. I really can't see the codes that well with the current photo.
sy308 Higher quality valve guides on 993 Turbos save them from the SAI oil issues. 63K is still pretty low. Lots of fun left in this beast! I'd like to know what prompted the new turbos?
Two questions:
Engine using oil or rebuild history? These vintage cars tend to wear valve guides about this mileage.
Clutch repair or replacement history? Factory or racing?
Thanks.
Bid in the amount of $45,000
Do you have accident photos, service records from your 25 year ownership? Also, great to have a PPI if it could be squared away before auction is up.
@Spicy-Y @Spicy-You can buy those rims direct from RUF or ebay everyday.
Would you sell the rims??? Or if there’s a new owner, I would be a buyer of the rims!!!!!!!!!!
