The end of an era for Porsche’s air-cooled 911 Turbo, the 993 generation was the first to adopt a twin-turbocharged engine paired with an all-wheel drive system. This 1997 example comes finished in Glacier White over a Black & Cashmere Beige full leather interior and features a leather-covered CD storage area, a power sunroof, wheel caps with colored Porsche crests, and more. This example is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas while showing approximately 63k miles on the odometer.

Compared to a 993 Carrera, the Turbo model presents widened sills and rear bodywork as well as a body-colored rear spoiler and redesigned bumpers with three front air inlets. This example is finished in Glacier White (L3AU) and rides on factory 18” Technology hollow-spoke wheels with optional colored Porsche crest center caps and Pirelli P Zero Nero GT tires from 2021. The seller notes an incident at a gas station resulted in replacing the rear bumper in January 2011. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report.

The cabin presents Black and Cashmere Beige (YA) full leather upholstery. Equipment includes a factory-optional leather-covered CD storage area, driver’s seat lumbar support, cruise control, a power sunroof, a Becker-Porsche CDR-210 stereo, and a trunk-mounted Alpine CD changer. Modifications include a set of metal pedal covers and a Porsche crest on the right of the dashboard. The seller reports all gauges, accessories, and electronics to be working properly.

The air-cooled twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six engine sends up to 408 HP and 398 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Stopping power is derived from fixed 4-piston aluminum “Big Red” Brembo brake calipers paired with cross-drilled rotors front and rear.  The dynamic Active Brake Differential (ABD) and a limited-slip differential are also equipped as standard. The seller adds that the valve cover gaskets were replaced in 2021, and service since then has included replacing the battery, O2 sensors, and distributor cap & rotor. The brake pads were also replaced within the last 300 miles in January 2023.

This sale will include a clean title, three keys, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, and some documentation.

  • JDCar599 (registered bidder) 1 year, 5 monthsago

I had a higher bid on this car than it is currently at earlier in the year when it was on auction. That seller stated he was the owner, now we have a different person on here stating they are the owner...... clearly they are two different people. I thought I asked a pretty simple question asking for clarification , no response, a little surprised.

  • RDM 1 year, 5 monthsago

Wow what a car, perfect color combo imo someone will have a big smile today. I’ll be watching closely Good luck to all.

@4.0Motorsports, can you clarify something for me. This car was listed earlier this year on "that other auction site", sorry the buyer ghosted you. English is clearly your second language but on the other auction your messages were in perfect english yet here it is not. The same "user name" 4.0.....?

@4.0Motorsports if anyone here wonderes what "Classic Remise Düsseldorf" is ... here is the link: https://remise.de/duesseldorf/short-facts/englisch
It's probably THE PLACE to store / show your prestigious car and to make him feel not lonly.
The seller should have contacted me back in Germany to sell his car to me and not taking it back home. Good luck with sales from Duesseldorf, Germany.

@Teddyx3 good eye and thanks for your question car has a California Clean Title under my name since 2012, when a vehicle is export US Customs House stamp and make Stamp Holes with Dry Seal on the original tile, the Carfax 08/30/21 was just a DMV updated when the car came back from EU .. 4.0 Motorsports is just a fictitious name we use for our Car Collection nothing under that name.. go ahead and bid with confidence to win car will sell tomorrow

  • Teddyx3 (registered bidder) 1 year, 6 monthsago

In the BaT description from April this year " the California title is listed as a duplicate"(Carfax 08/30/21). Over here "clean title". Do you mean @4.0Motorsports clean California title?

@josejuan - Thanks for your Bid and question that is giving me the opportunity to clarify some more details----

#1--Carfax do not show Accident but “Damage”, (which is a big difference) , as show on pictures and answers below (please refer to that) .
We own the car for the past 19 years; so this is a 3 owners car before my Dad purchased in 2004 after that was transferring among our family only until today. As showing on CarFax car has been service at the same shop since 2004 until I took to Europe in 2013 -----
    # 2-- I decided to move to EU and took several of my cars with me (12) but I was unable to drive any of them with California plates.. cars were storage at Classic Remise in Dusseldorf, Germany-----
#3--Since we have lots of cars this is one that I rarely drive, because used to be my dad’s favorite and a Collectors -----

Note: as today car hold the original title since 2012.

  • JOSEJUAN (registered bidder) 1 year, 6 monthsago

Sorry I'm confused with the history of the car in carfax it says 6 owners an accident that you mention in 2011, then until 2011 it changes to a 5th owner then it goes to a 6th owner who exports it to Germany in 2013 there the history of the car is lost until 2021 What is imported to the USA am I correct? In 2012 it has 61,658 miles, which is the last report and then until 2022 when it returns from Germany it has 63,099 miles only in 10 years 1441 miles did the car drive while in another country? now from 2022 to 2023 it has only traveled 200 miles, could you confirm if I am correct?

@CJWRacing33 thanks for your question, car belonged to our family since 2004, in 2011 my Dad was backing up at the gas station and hit one of those little poles making a very small crack on the bumper plastic cover; my dad was getting old and that was practically the last time he drove the 993, after that stay with me only; I have pictures of the entire rear bumper without plastic cover showing there is absolute not a scratch on the real bumper or anywhere else, only on the plastic cover. If you need more detail pictures let me know since I have lots of pictures from that particular area.. please refer to picture 138 on the gallery showing intacted bumper without plastic cover, not even a scratch on the metal, also picture 123- 124- 126 shows 100% rear extructure all original paint; paint meter shows 100% original paint in the entire car special ate the rear. hope you bid to win on this amazing 993 Turbo

  • CJWRacing33 (registered bidder) 1 year, 6 monthsago
