Now available for auction is this 1997 Porsche 993 Turbo finished in Black over a black leather interior. Sporting wide bodywork, massive brakes, lightweight wheels, and a twin-turbocharged air-cooled engine sending power to all four wheels, the Turbo was the flagship model of the 993 generation and one of the most iconic poster cars of the late 1990s.  This 1997 Turbo features optional supple leather seats, aluminum instrument dials, and leather/aluminum shifter and brake handles.  It has also been extensively serviced and upgraded within the last 100 miles with a GIAC Stage 2 performance kit, Bilstein heavy duty dampers, RS engine mounts, new bushings, new brakes, A/C system overhaul, CV joint service, a refinished intercooler, and much more.  A tastefully upgraded driver-grade example, this 993 Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Oklahoma with approximately 133k miles showing on the odometer.

This Turbo comes finished in Black and features distinctive wide fenders, model-specific fascias, flared rocker panels, and a fixed body-colored rear spoiler.  Some chips are noted on the front end as well as some other signs of road-going wear throughout the exterior.  The front bumper has been recently refinished for cosmetic purposes and new headlight lenses were installed along with new hood and decklid struts, wiper blades, sunroof seals, and a Euro 993 front splitter.  Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.  The new brake calipers have received a custom Bahama Yellow finish. Updated 996 Turbo hollow-spoke wheels have been installed, finished in satin silver, and fitted with colored center crests.  New Pirelli Trofeo R Compound tires were also mounted within the last 200 miles.

The cabin is upholstered in black full leather with optional supple leather seats, aluminum instrument dials, and a shifter and brake lever trimmed in leather and aluminum.  Litronic xenon headlamps are equipped as standard in addition to air conditioning, full-power seats, a rear window wiper, and an onboard computer.  A three-spoke leather steering wheel has been fitted along with a new airbag, red seatbelts, an upgraded Sony stereo, and a digital GReddy boost controller mounted above the center binnacle.  The dome light switch was also recently replaced along with the cabin air filter and a new odometer gear installed by North Hollywood Speedometer.  The carpets are protected by Turbo-logo floor mats and signs of wear are present on the front seats, door panels, and rear side panels.  The A/C was recently serviced and overhauled with a new evaporator, receiver dryer, and expansion valve.

The 993 Turbo features an air-cooled 3.6L flat-six engine fitted with twin turbochargers and dual-charge air intercoolers.  Thanks to the smaller twin-turbo configuration, this engine offered a significant improvement in throttle response at low revs compared to its single-turbo predecessor.  With a compression ratio of 8.0:1, the engine produces up to 408 HP and 298 lb.-ft of torque stock, which is sent to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission.  The dynamic slip system with Active Brake Differential (ABD) and limited-slip differential were offered as standard equipment.  Stopping power is handled by fixed 4-piston Brembo brake calipers paired with 322mm cross-drilled rotors front and rear.  Muffler bypasses have been installed, and modifications and service carried within the last 100 miles are said to include the following:
