The Porsche 993 Turbo holds a special place in Porsche history as the last air-cooled Turbo model produced. Accordingly, only 1,297 993 Turbo’s were offered for sale, making this an incredibly rare vehicle. Up for auction is a low mileage 1997 Porsche 911 Turbo finished in black over a black leather interior. This 25.6k-mile example was sold new at Stevens Creek Porsche in Santa Clara, California and currently resides in Santa Rosa, California. Though having spent a handful of years on the east coast, this car has been in California for most of its life.
The exterior paint is stunning and is said to be all original aside from a professional respray of the front bumper due to rock chips. Paint meter readings have been provided in the photo gallery. The seller states that the vehicle has been garage kept its entire life and there are no signs that it has ever been driven in inclement weather.
The black leather interior is in exceptional condition. This Turbo was ordered new with an MSRP of $107,000.00, featuring factory options such as powered front seats with supple leather, aluminum shift knob, aluminum brake handle, and factory sunroof. All functions including the original radio, air-conditioning, and heat are in working order.
The 993 Turbo is equipped with a twin-turbocharged M64 3.6L flat-six engine, producing 408HP and 398 lb-ft torque and delivers power to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. In December 2018, the Turbo received a $3,400 service at Hoffman Porsche. In addition to the service, new hood and decklid struts were installed along with an oil change, and new accessory belts. A pre-purchase inspection was also performed, deeming the vehicle in great running condition.
In 2010, the previous owner had Eibach suspension springs installed, resulting in a more aggressive stance and increased performance (factory springs included in sale). The factory chrome 18″ Turbo twist wheels feature painted wheel crests and are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sports with a healthy amount of tread remaining.
Included with the sale is a binder of service records dating back to new, a clean Carfax, original tool roll, original books, and keys.

To PorscheGuruu,
I went and took another close look at the car, dash board and took some new pictures
of the dash, at the glove box, then toward the radio as well as another of the mileage (today)
There is No fading, stretching, shrinkage, etc. etc. etc. of Any kind anywhere on the dash
and or on the interior !
Any changes in the picture images has to be lighting and camera ( phone ) related.
I can guarantee the leather is perfect. ( if it is not I will refund your purchase price ! )
Finally, the mileage ; 25,652 ( today at 4:00 PM PDT )
I have asked Pcamarket to post the new pictures however, I am not sure how long that will take, given our 3 hour time difference ( California, where the car is, to East Coast, where Pcamarket is )
I am willing to share / send to phone and or e-mail is you ( any ) desire.
Thank you
@Porscheguruu Hello. I reviewed, what I believe is the picture of the dash ( lower correct / glove box )
and I believe I see what you mention, shading, etc. ?
It may be my Samsung phone.
However, I will look again more closely and take a new shot ( s ) .
I may not be able to get there today ( storage ) but if not today tomorrow for sure.
F Y I. I have looked at this Porsche ever which way possible and I don't believe there are Any issues, discolorations, fading of the dash areas ( any areas ).
Hi seller, It looks like the dash on the passenger side has some leather issues - maybe some leather shrinkage? Are you able to comment on what is showing up in the picture (picture 25 shows it best) that makes the leather look like that?
Bid in the amount of $140,000

Hello All,
I must say, having watched the BAT auction site, when my schedule allows, I am disappointed by the ( I would consider ) negative or not positive comments about my Porsche.
To continue.
I brought the Turbo to this site in good faith, with as much accurate information as possible.
Additionally I certainly apologize for any confusion regarding the mileage on the car.
Also, it is a bit difficult ( for me ) to understand who is commenting to whom as I look at the recent postings.
That said, I do believe that lp7 create was addressing MBCARS directly regarding his / her recent comments and I do appreciate lp7 create's position.
Finally.
This is an Incredible Porsche, recently, exhaustively vetted by myself, as well as serviced and inspected by Hoffman Porsche prior to my purchase.
Selling has truly been a difficult decision.
However, as I mentioned recently, I am not in a position to keep both Porsche's
Thank you
@lp7create It's interesting you don't find info such as the car having been listed at auction within the last few months where it didn't meet reserve helpful or useful. Or that the car, after having just been purchased, is up for sale again. Factual data about the history of the car is typically found to be helpful. It seems as though you suffer from what you tried to call out however. Your comment in fact didn't "provide any valuable information" whatsoever.
@sportscarguy3 - thanks for the reply. I wish you all the best with the sale! I won't be bidding due to some of the concerns listed in my previous posts however.
@MBCARZ I was just browsing PcarMarket and came across your comments. Your comments have no value. They do not seek to help anyone or provide any valuable information. You seem to have no other purpose than to cause strife with an obvious malicious intent. Who are you to call out the bidder and the seller for no apparent reason? I can go on but Don’t want to make this anymore about you.
@MBCARZ Just one final comment, after reading your comments again.
Perhaps you should do more " asking questions " and less making unsubstantiated statements about a car that you know nothing about "
Just a thought !
@MBCARZ Hello, I am responding to your comments and apparent concerns about my Porsche.
I can assure you " there is Nothing fishy going on here " !
Yes, the car was on Bat and yes it did not reach the owner's reserve.
Yes, " I " purchased the Porsche from that owner, who it turns out I had spoken to some time earlier about the car. ( before it went on Ba t )
We connected again and negotiated a deal for me to purchase the car. Which I did.
In the mean time, I had sold my 2005 Carrera S and had been looking at another, water cooled, later model, Porsche.
As it turned out I purchased " that Porsche " and unfortunately CAN NOT keep both Porsche's.
Finally, given the pristine condition and low mileage of this incredible 993 Turbo, I believe, for my lifestyle, I should sell this Porsche and drive the later model Porsche.
PS. As far as the original bid of $ 26 K. I have no idea why the buyer started there.
Not knowledgeable, getting things, etc. etc. etc..
I do know that the next bid, of $ 125 K, is in the lowest possible range of where a bid
should be for this incredible Porsche 911 - 993 TT. !
I sincerely hope this clarifies any concerns you have about the car.
Just ran the vin on this car. There's a few things that seem off.
According to the VIN this car seems to have just been on BAT where it appears it didn't reach it's reserve. Then, according to the VIN, it was sold sometime after that. Now the car is up for auction again? Who would sell a car they just bought without something being wrong with it? Seems a little fishy to say the least.
Now there is confusion about the mileage? And the bid went from $26k to $125k in one bid? Too many weird things swirling around this car.
Hi. The typo on the mileage has been corrected. Thank you.
Bid in the amount of $125,000
Bid in the amount of $26,000
Post Script, As I read Motor Mike's comment again more closely, I see there was another error
( somewhere ) My mileage report, earlier, was intended to be just over the actual miles for movement to detailing and possible test drives etc. My intended mileage was 25,750, estimating a maximum of 100 miles or less, why the listed mileage came in at " 27,750 " was an error on someones part, not mine however.
The mileage is " as shown in the most recent photos " 25,652 ". Thanks
Bid in the amount of $25,000
PS. The car comes with the factory front springs as well as another set of wheels and tires.
Custom Black wheels and Pirelli tires. ( I will post specific details and pics ASAP )
Good Morning, I am the seller and just getting up to speed on the web site.
Happy to answer all questions.
Re; mileage. Not sure about the 23 k comment. However, the mileage is as show in the pictures 26, 650 + -. I listed 26,750 originally to cover any miles put on it during sale preparation, detailing, test drives, etc. etc. etc. ( which have much less then anticipated )
Thank you for pointing out the mistake. We appreciate when the community can help us keep data as accurate as possible.
@Motormike good catch. Looks like the typo was corrected.
Mileage in write up says 23k, mileage on listing says 27,750 and mileage of the odometer shows 25,652. Maybe just an honest mistake would be nice to know the current actual mileage and seller could have at least used different pictures and description from when he purchased it after the bat ad. Gorgeous well sorted car though GLWS
