Featuring an all-wheel-drive system in the Turbo’s chassis and wider bodyshell while maintaining naturally aspirated performance, the 993 Carrera 4S remains one of the most desirable air-cooled Porsches of all. This 1997 example comes finished in Black over a Cashmere Beige and Black interior along with optional Aerokit front and rear spoilers, the Motor Sound Package, and supple leather seats. It was acquired by the current owner in 2015 and has been diligently maintained with approximately one thousand miles driven since. Now showing just over 68k miles on the odometer, this C4S is being offered for auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania.
The 993 Carrera 4S shares its wider fenders, front bumper, and 18” wheel design with the 911 Turbo. This example is finished in Black and includes the optional Aerokit package which adds body-colored front and rear spoilers. Other details include red-painted brake calipers, 4S-logo center caps, clear side marker lenses, dual exhaust outlets, and aftermarket HID headlights. The car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires from 2017/2018 and the seller notes minor imperfections on the front bumper, a small touch-up on the sunroof panel, and a blemish on the front cowl between the windshield wipers. Paint meter readings indicate the hood and right front fender to have been previously refinished. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The driver is greeted by a Cashmere Beige and Black partial leather interior featuring optional supple leather seats and matching carpet floor mats. Accessories include automatic climate control, cruise control, a central locking system, an electric sunroof, and a sound system paired with the original Porsche CDR-220 stereo. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional.
An air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 282 HP to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The optional Motor Sound Package includes a revised airbox and louder mufflers for a more aggressive engine tone. The seller notes Koni dampers and mounts were installed in November 2019 along with new rear toe arms, and the windshield washer fluid pump and reservoir were replaced in April 2021. Additional maintenance records are provided for reference in the gallery.
This sale will include a clean title, maintenance records, and the original owner’s manuals.
The seller would like you to know: “This 4S has been one of the nicest driving cars I have owned, it sounds and drives Beautifully. The car looks just stunning and always brings favorable compliments. I have maintained it without reserve, and it currently needs nothing mechanically. It is always stored in a heated garage. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you.”

Sorry guys @kpaul88 was busy buying a Lambo on this other auction site. He couldn't be bothered to spend time on this Porsche. That said this would make a pretty cool car for his housekeeping or gardening staff to use to transport items between estates. Enjoy the purchase! Look for @kpaul88 in the Murcielago at your nearest stoplight.

@porschepaddy Cost to Paint? - IDK but this car does not need painted. IDK about “Paint Correction” either, but it looks great as is.
what does a paint job worthy of a 993 cost nowadays? It's been a long time since I've had something painted.
Bid in the amount of $103,000
@Hi Thank you! You are so correct. This is a wonderful car and I have maintained it perfectly. I do have other older cars, an RSA and a Speedster, which you won’t see on the market anytime soon. But with my daily Pcar driver, I have decided to part with this 993 - as how many can one man drive?? (It’s fun to try tho!!). Good luck, I’m here if you have questions. Thank you all for following my car.
comments below are nonsense from people that has no clue on the air cooler market, this car only needs a paint correction to be 100% in excellent condition; better with miles than a garage queen that will have too many things to do before you can enjoy. This are rockets build ..beautiful car and color combination @bigs964rs don't let go cheap if you don't need the $$$..it only gets appreciated and rarest everyday ..only few left available

@jbauto we kindly ask that you refrain from discussing price. this is a fresh auction that will stand on its own merit. Thank you.
So, 122 isn't enough? I thought this car looked familiar. I think with the miles shown, I would have cut it loose. Turbo look, but no turbo. GLTA
Bid in the amount of $90,000
@Luft78 Thanks for your comment! PCar Market does well with 993s and I fully expect to sell this great car tomorrow, so if you are a buyer, bid for it. I’ll be watching as we close the auction to answer any questions that may arise, so good luck to all of you who would like a beautiful 993 4S.
This car went to $122,000 last week on bat and was RNM, will it do more here? Would be very surprising.

@Cozad1955 Yes it is original. I’ll post the options sticker decoded for all to see. The SAI ports were not cleaned under my ownership as it was not necessary. I’m familiar with what you are asking, but the valve guides are not related to the SAI ports in my reading. If you review the driving video you can see there are no lights lit at this time.
Is the aero kit original to the car? Has any top end work been done to the engine, specifically the valve guides which cause SAI faults?
Thank you for looking or following my 4S, it has been a wonderful car, I am sure the next owner will enjoy it as much as we have. Feel free to ask me questions and I will answer as quickly as possible.
