We are pleased to present this 1997 Porsche 993 Carrera 4S Coupe finished in Black over a black leather interior. This well-preserved example features a 6-speed manual transmission, the desirable Motor Sound Package, and factory 18” Turbo Twist wheels. This 911 shows just shy of 37K-miles on the odometer and is being offered for auction by its seller out of Massachusetts.
The black finish on this Carrera 4S is said to be in great condition with paint protection film applied to the front hood, bumpers, and full fenders (detailed images are availabe in the photo gallery). The 993 Carrera 4S borrowed the widened bodywork from the 993 Turbo, as well as its suspension and braking system. This example rides on factory optioned 18” Turbo Twist wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires dated from 2018.
Inside, this 911 has been appointed with a black leather interior that is said to show very well with all interior functions in working condition. From the factory, this C4S was optioned with the 10 speaker Hi-Fi package and fully powered driver’s seat, while aftermarket upgrades include a Porsche Classic Radio, a hidden K40 radar detector, and a Rennline pedal set.
This final air-cooled generation 993 featured a 3.6 L naturally aspirated flat-six engine that was rated at 282 HP. That power is sent through a G50 6-speed manual gearbox to all four wheels, which helps get this C4S to 60mph in just over 5 seconds. The Motor Sound Package optioned on this example makes for a more aggressive note thanks to a resonant airbox and freer-flowing mufflers. This example is said to have been properly serviced throughout its life.
Included in the sale of this beautiful 993 C4S is a set of two keys, books, tools, spare wheel, original window sticker, original delivery card, and a trickle charger.

@914plus968 To some as the C2S is more rare. Although with the 4S the bigger brakes, AWD and more is very desirable as evidenced here and elsewhere. The 4S needless to say is a great car. I enjoy mine immensely and would hope the new here will feel much the same.

@914plus968 Yes! The C2S is more rare so it gets a higher price, but it's just a widebody Carrera. With the C4S you're getting the turbo body, big red brakes, and drivetrain/suspension. Better bang for your buck!
@914plus968 Generally yes but it is a matter of personal preference. Also, it is harder to get a C2S. Not sure if many people necessarily have a choice where, for example, they found a C4S that had the preferred colour combo.

@adamcalli01 by that math yes but I wouldn't be surprised if this one sold for less either. That was one of those scenarios where a car sold for too much money in my opinion. I see this on BAT as well. Sometimes you will see a high mile car sell for more than a lower mileage value. Guess its just how many people want it that day. In my opinion that was a $95k car that sold the other day, although the market is crazy right now. Best of luck to all here.

The 993 C4S is the sweet spot in the 993 lineup. Great N/A motor, widebody, turbo suspension and brakes, low production numbers. These cars are only going up!
Clean 993 wide-body cars are becoming impossible to find. This should bring $125k + The days of $80-$100 for clean examples are long gone.

The title listing of the vehicle and in the first paragraph of the description it states this vehicle has 33K miles. I’m sure it’s an oversight but the Carfax report and the odometer pic shows the vehicle has 36,663 miles.
