Finished in Black over a Classic Grey interior, this 1997 Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet features a 4-speed Tiptronic automatic transaxle paired with its air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine. It was sold new in Arizona and factory-equipped with the optional Power Seat Package, Porsche-crested headrests, supple leather seat upholstery, the Aluminum/Chrome Package, carbon fiber and aluminum trim for the gear selector and handbrake, a HiFi sound system, and 18” Technology wheels. Purchased by its second and current owner in 2012, this 993 Carrera Cabriolet is now being offered for auction out of Arizona with approximately 57k miles showing on the odometer.
This 993 is finished in Black with a new grey cabriolet roof and a matching tonneau cover. Equipment includes projector headlights, headlamp washers, integrated fog lights, power mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a “basket handle” brake light spoiler, optional chrome dual exhaust tips, and chrome Turbo-style 18” Technology wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps. The seller notes the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires are new, and the car was garage-kept throughout their ownership, covering approximately 500-750 miles per year. Some minor paint chips are present around the exterior, and a small hole can be seen on the front bumper cover. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Classic Grey interior includes optional power-operated supple leather seats with Porsche-crested headrests, a carbon fiber-trimmed gear selector and handbrake, stainless-steel door entry guards, and aluminum instrument dials. Other accessories include a four-spoke leather steering wheel with Tiptronic shift buttons, power windows and door locks, automatic climate control, cruise control, an onboard computer, a HiFi sound system, and an AM/FM/CD stereo. Some signs of wear are noted on the driver’s seat, and the ABS warning light is present on the dashboard.
The air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine features a Varioram resonant induction system and delivers up to 282 HP to the rear wheels through a 4-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle. Performance features include a multi-link LSA rear suspension, front and rear stabilizer bars, and four-piston vented disc brakes with ABS. The seller notes the alternator and wiring harness were replaced after their purchase in 2012.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a spare tire, a tire inflator, a car cover, a battery trickle charger, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “I purchased the car in 2012. My wife and I enjoy it in the spring and fall when Phoenix AZ temps are perfect for the top-down. I have not driven in the rain or snow. We have taken it on short overnight trips in the state (200 miles or so) but mostly on weekend pleasure rides. It has been kept in our conditioned garage at 78 degrees year-round. We have only added 10k miles since owning it and are driving it less and less. It has been reliable, but it is time to move on.”

@Skvintage I have it scheduled at Penske Porsche in a week. In 2014 I had a similar indicator and it was the sensor. I will have it repaired after they look at it next week. I have been driving it with no braking issues.
@artichoke The window sticker says “classic grey”
Have you had a mechanic evaluate the brakes per the ABS warning light?
Is the interior classic grey or Rubicon Grey? Its looks like it has the purple shade of Rubicon Grey, (I have a C4 Cab black over Rubicon Grey)
Bid in the amount of $1,200
@Bankrep40 Here are the window sticker options listed as Aluminum Chrome

X70 - Door sills in steel with model insignia

Thank you @rixstarx. The bullet would have been a good story, but I'm wall aware of garage creatures that love to land on cars. LOL We had a rinse kit fall off a shelf and glide down a glass roof. Cracking it along the way. GLWTA!
Were the guages replaced in the car. Usually they are black
@JarrodLovesCars Sorry, not a bullet hole although that would be an interesting story. I have wire basket hangers in my garage to store bikes and equip off the floor that are secured (obviously loosely) with 3/8" x 1-1/2" lag bolts. The weight of my hockey equipment bag pulled it of the wall and fell on the front bumper of the car and one of the lag bolts penetrated the soft bumper cover. No other damage occured and I never repaired the hole.
Bid in the amount of $911
The "small hole" in pic 36 looks like a bullet hole? What else was damaged? If not a bullet, what caused it? You've got oil coolers under that area.
