This 1997 Land Rover Defender 110 underwent a full restoration and custom build, featuring a chassis, a push-button electric convertible soft top, and a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine paired with a 6-speed 6L80 automatic transmission and Ashcroft-Transmissions transfer case. The build includes a grey refinish, galvanized doors, new fenders and bumpers, LED lighting, aftermarket wheels, upgraded suspension and steering, diamond-stitched leather upholstery, and a suite of modern amenities such as GPS-integrated gauges, touchscreen infotainment, power windows, and air conditioning. Driven sparingly since the completion of the build, this extensively modified Defender 110 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.

As part of its comprehensive restoration, the body was refinished in grey and mounted on a sandblasted and powder-coated chassis. Exterior details include a Puma-style hood, new front fenders, a power-operated tan soft top, updated bumpers with integrated fog lights, a new front grille, side steps, and LED lighting throughout. It rides on aftermarket black-finished 18” wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires bearing 2025 date codes, with a matching spare mounted in the rear. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report dating back to July 2025.

The interior has been fully reupholstered in diamond-stitched tan leather covering the new seats, door panels, custom center console, dashboard, and integrated roll bar headrests. The dashboard houses a new gauge cluster, a GPS-integrated tachometer and speedometer, a fiberoptic lighting feature, and an 11” BOSS touchscreen radio with Bluetooth, CarPlay, and USB connectivity, paired with new speakers in the front and rear. Additional amenities include power windows, USB-C/A ports front and rear, LED cupholders, new seat belts, and a modern air conditioning system mounted under the dash. All interior panels were individually sandblasted and painted during the build. The seller notes the warning lights for oil pressure, check engine, brake fluid, handbrake, and differential lock are currently illuminated.

Power is derived from a GM-sourced 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine, generating a factory-rated 430 HP and 424 lb-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed 6L80 automatic transmission and an Ashcroft-Transmissions transfer case. The axles have been fully rebuilt, and new front and rear prop shafts were installed. The suspension system features new components with silicone bushings, while braking is facilitated by an upgraded 18” brake system with 8-piston calipers and a dual vacuum setup. The steering system is entirely new, and a new battery and electrical wiring were installed during the build.

This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a spare tire, a sales brochure, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “FIRST AND ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD CONVERTIBLE MOTORS OPERATED SOFT TOP pre 2016 Defender110 . Of chassis restoration. With to many options on it.”
