This 1997 Land Rover Defender 110 was imported to the U.S. from Spain in June 2023 after being treated to a comprehensive custom restoration. It has been refinished in grey metallic over a new black and brown leather interior and features LED lighting, powder-coated hardware, an NAS-style rear bumper, Evo Corso Dakar Rally wheels, diamond-stitched seats, a leather MOMO steering wheel, a touchscreen GPS head unit, Marshall speakers, an upgraded off-road suspension, new brakes, an overhauled drivetrain, and an original 300Tdi turbodiesel engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. Having been comprehensively serviced and inspected by the experts at Defender Imports, this restored 110 is now being offered for auction out of Colorado.
This Defender was refinished in grey metallic paint with a contrasting gloss black roof during the restoration in Spain. The hood and door hinges, front bumper, window pillar brackets, and rear swing-out tire carrier were freshly powder-coated in gloss black upon import by the seller. Exterior features include new LED exterior lights and projector headlamps, KBX headlight surrounds and trim, a new front grille, black checker plating, an NAS-style rear bumper, a 2” receiver hitch, running boards, and Evo Corso Dakar Rally wheels with BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires and 30mm spacers. The seller notes that the passenger front fender was damaged during shipment and was replaced and painted upon import. Some of the windows show light scratches and the driver/passenger middle windows have some pitting from rocks and debris. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, this Land Rover features a custom reupholstered black and brown leather interior including diamond-stitched leather seats, leather door cards, Ex-Moor premium carpeting, a new perforated leather headliner, and Dynamat sound insulation throughout. The restoration also included an upholstered and upgraded dashboard with new plastic trim throughout the interior as well as a new Raptor aluminum binnacle housing and cowl, billet aluminum grab handles, metal door sill finishers, a leather-wrapped MOMO alloy steering wheel, new rubber door seals, new door sill trim, rubber floor mats, a heated windscreen, and USB charging ports. The sound system includes a double-din touchscreen stereo with GPS navigation and Marshall Action II speakers mounted in custom glove boxes in the front and middle rows.
This Defender is powered by an original 4-cylinder 300Tdi turbodiesel engine paired with a 5-speed R380 manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck has been refurbished with new brake pads, rear brake rotors, rebuilt rear wheel hubs, a new rear driveshaft, a new drive flange and seal for the rear differential, new transfer case gaskets and seals, a new oil pan gasket, power steering lines, front radius arms, and a new ball joint on the steering box drop arm. The suspension has also been upgraded with Terra Firma HD rear trailing arms, SuperPro poly bushings, and new BritPart shocks and springs. The seller notes the powertrain has approximately 130k original miles and the truck was recently serviced along with tuning the fuel injection pump.
This sale will include a spare tire and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “A well-sorted truck, ready for immediate use as a daily driver.”

@Hokitect @Hokitect. As for damage to the rear crossmember, there's some typical surface rust on it, but that's it. I don't have a photo of the VIN on the chassis, but it's there and it matches the VIN on the data plate. The vehicle passed import and certified VIN inspections, it has a clean Colorado title... no VIN-swap, the chassis/engine are original equipment.
