Showcasing Pininfarina-designed bodywork, a mid-mounted naturally aspirated V8, and a gated 6-speed manual transmission, this 1997 Ferrari F355 Spider is presented in Argento Nürburgring over blue Connolly leather upholstery. This car was originally specified for the European market and was imported to Miami, Florida, in 2001 before being imported to Canada in 2022. It features upgraded exhaust headers and underwent a full engine-out service about 2 years ago. Showing approximately 36k miles on the odometer, this F355 is now being offered for auction out of Ontario, Canada.
Finished in Argento Nürburgring with a blue convertible top, the Pininfarina-designed bodywork features pop-up headlamps, side air intakes, and a vented engine cover. Other equipment includes fog lights, clear Euro-spec turn signals, power mirrors, quad taillights, quad exhaust outlets, and silver 18” 5-spoke magnesium wheels. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires show production date codes from 2020 at the rear and 2024 in front. The seller indicates the car was previously refinished in its original color and the paint remains in excellent overall condition. The cabin is appointed with blue Connolly leather upholstery. Accessories include a black leather four-spoke steering wheel, a polished aluminum gear knob, a gated shifter assembly, drilled aluminum pedals, power windows and mirrors, air conditioning, “Ferrari 355” branded floor mats, analog Veglia Borletti gauges, and an aftermarket stereo. The seller notes the original sticky buttons have been refinished and some minor signs of wear are present around the interior.
Rated at 375 HP and 275 lb.-ft of torque, the Tipo F129 B/C 3.5-liter DOHC V8 features a 5-valve cylinder head, titanium connecting rods, and dry-sump lubrication. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Upgraded exhaust headers have been installed and the car comes standard with an electronically adjustable suspension. An engine-out service was performed by Engineered Automotive in December 2022 including new timing belts, Hill Engineering tensioner rollers, a power steering belt, an A/C drive belt, spark plugs, plug gasket covers, coolant, brake fluid, engine oil, and a new oil filter. A Lubrico warranty provides engine and transmission coverage for the next year and a half.
