Produced from 1995 until 2002, the BMW Z3 is an agile two-seater sports car based on a shortened version of the E36 3-Series platform. This 1997 example is finished in Alpine White III over Sand Beige Oregon leather and features a 5-speed manual transmission paired with a 1.9-liter inline-four engine. Said to have been garage-kept and lightly driven under the care of two prior owners, this Z3 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida with approximately 27k miles showing on the odometer.
This Z3 is finished in Alpine White III with a tan convertible top and rides on factory 16” Style 35 alloy wheels. Other equipment includes front fender vents with BMW roundels, fog lights, an aftermarket antenna, dual kidney grilles with a BMW CCA badge, and a polished oval exhaust outlet. The seller notes some small scratches on the driver’s door, gas filler lid, and passenger side mirror. The Continental ExtremeContact tires are said to be in good condition, although they show production date codes from 2011. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Sand Beige Oregon leather upholstery complemented by matching carpets, aftermarket woodgrain trim pieces, and a black leather four-spoke steering wheel. Other accessories include a black leather gear knob, Roadster-branded door sills, black rubber Z3-logo floor mats, power windows and mirrors, a central locking system, air conditioning, cruise control, an onboard computer, and an AM/FM cassette stereo. The seller notes a small crack on the lower weatherstripping.
Rated at 138 HP and 133 lb.-ft of torque, the 1.9-liter M44B19 inline-four engine sends power to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transaxle. The car is equipped as standard with power-assisted disc brakes, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), traction control, and speed-sensitive power steering. There are no outstanding service items reported by the seller.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a car cover, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. The vehicle has been kept in very good condition and runs very well.”
