Now available for auction is this 1996 Porsche 993 Turbo finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over a Cashmere Beige leather interior with blue carpeting. A stunning representation of the final air-cooled 911 Turbo, this low-mileage 1996 example features exclusive options including pleated leather seats, leather sun visors, and stainless-steel door entry guards with model logos. Remaining in exceptional overall condition with a recent inspection carried out along with an oil service and paint correction, this 993 Turbo is now being offered by its seller in Florida while showing just under 28k miles on the odometer.
The Midnight Blue Metallic paint is said to be in excellent overall condition and the seller indicates that the hood may have been refinished at some point (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). This Turbo can be distinguished by its wide fenders, revised bumpers, painted rear spoiler, and 18” Turbo Twist wheels sporting factory optional colored center crests.
Inside, this 993 highlights a beautifully preserved Cashmere Beige leather interior with blue carpeting. Factory options include pleated leather front and rear seats, a Nokia DSP audio system with a 6-disc CD changer, a power sunroof, rear window wiper, leather sun visors, and stainless-steel door entry guards with model logos. The specification label on the underside of the hood also displays internal option codes 00051, 00061, 09981, 09991, 16981, and 16931.
Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.6 L flat-six engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. An all-wheel-drive system distributes 408 HP and 398 lb.-ft of torque, allowing this Turbo to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 4.4 seconds. A Krause front strut tower brace has been equipped for improved handling. An oil service was recently carried out in addition to a pre-purchase inspection which found some minor oil seepage from the oil sender, timing chain cover, and left-side turbocharger. This car is said to be in excellent running order and up to date on all routine maintenance.
This sale will include two keys, a stamped maintenance book, and factory manuals. This exceptionally well-configured 993 Turbo makes the perfect choice for any discerning enthusiast, do not let this opportunity pass you by. ]

@Solomonschris Thanks for the encouragement Chris. Hindsight is 20:20. I know I paid more than the classic.com averages but I wanted this color combo and I'll enjoy it for many years to come. I recall the day I saw my first one in the flesh many years ago.
@993ttCGT Congratulations, you bought a stunning car with a great color combo. I have owned 8 911’s over the past 31 years and the 993 remains my favorite. I bought a 993tt in 2011 with on 24K miles. I drove it for 2 years and sold it for 12k more than I paid for it, thinking I was a genius. At the time I also had, and still do, a 991 C2S cab that I bought new. I sold a rapidly appreciating asset and kept the rapidly depreciating one. I loved mine, wish I still had it and really wish I had driven it more.
Enjoy.....Chris
Congrats to 993ttCGT ! and thanks for all the comments Happy Holidays to Everyone , special thanks to the PCARMARKET for the work this days .

@993ttCGT Good morning , When the car is at its temperature level it really works perfectly and very smoothly each gear without any problem, with the cold car it always costs a little 1st and reverse gear. Thanks
@greenmtndriver Hello to everyone ,
1) What service records do you have prior to owning?
It can be seen in carfax that it has been a car with several services, the last one that appears was in 2019 and then an exterior and interior detailing of the car has been done.
2) Can you describe how you came to own the car? Looks like you are a dealer who bought the car in PA and moved it to FL.
I am the owner of the car and I have the title of Pennsylvania in my possession.
3) What are the major defects of the vehicle? Does it sound like there are some chips in the paint on the rocks? Anything else noteworthy?
You can see the chips in photos 218 and 219, nothing more noticeable to comment on, after detailing the car looks great.
4) The completed PPI in PA points out several problems. Have any of these been addressed? Or are you simply informing the bidder that these issues exist and that they can decide whether or not to address them?
As I said before, the car's leaking oil is small so I decide not make the work and I note that If the car is used frequently, no traces of oil appear, it is only when the vehicle has not been started or used for a long time, runs very good , smooth , the clutches is smooth too , good brakes , the car is in excellent condition, and I repeat as I said from the first day that they can send professional third parties to inspect the vehicle.
The 993 combination for me is one of the nicest , my 5th Turbo and my preferred combination.
Thanks .

Beautiful car - love the color combination. A couple questions for the seller...
1) What service records do you have prior to your ownership?
2) Can you describe how you came to own the car? It sounds like you're a dealer who purchased the car in PA and relocated the car to FL?
3) What are the biggest flaws with the vehicle? sounds like there are some chips in the paint from rocks? Anything else worth noting?
4) The PPI completed in PA notes several issues. Have any of these been addressed? Or are you simply making bidder aware that these issues exist and they can decide whether or not to address?
Thanks in advance. Looks like a great car.

What a gorgeous 993! I have been looking for a Black or Arena Red one for a little while, but I may have to rethink my color choice as tis Midnight Blue is beautiful!
Could you please let us know whether the gear shifts from 1-6 are consistently smooth?
Thanks

@Pump993 Good morning to everyone , Impossible to know years ago, but it really smells like no one inside the car smoked, no traces of that.
Question to the seller
Has the car been ever smoked in ?
Bid in the amount of $111,111

@Pump993 Hi, good morning , it was made in pennsylvania because it was made before bought .
I bought the car with this exhaust , I think that is original. I sent a photo for add with U.S.E.P.A. Regulations catalyst .
No windshield chips .
I sent to Pcarmarket to add a photo with the vehicle emission control information .
Seller can you please confirm that the exhaust is stock and original including the catalytic converter .
Do you know if the car complied with California emissions and pas smog test
Can you explain how was the PPI done in Pennsylvania if the car is in Florida
Any stone chips on the windshield?

@Pump993 Good morning , ten photos sent to PCARMARKET , shortly online , I hope it helps . Thanks .
@Insanity01 Good morning, I attach photos with the chips that I have noticed, the car is excellent and if it has had a paint job it was done really very well, I also attach a video with the air conditioning operation.
I mean from the oil leaking that I have been using the car daily for very few miles these days, no more than 2 a day and I do not notice any more liquefaction, I particularly think that the liquefaction problems appear when the cars are stopped for months but when I use them more everything works better, it's just what I think.
Request to the Seller
Beautiful car. Can you please post picture with the car outdoors especial the front end of the car showing the hood and the fenders, the concern is that the "maybe repainted hood" may not show indoors but may show outdoors
Thank you for your cooperation
Are there any flaws in the paint? Small rock chips or scratches of any kind? I read the front bonnet may have been repainted or touched up, does that include the front bumper cover as well?

@tommysita Hi , paint meter photos were added , thanks.
@Fordgt Good afternoon, the PPI was sent to PCARMARKET , it will be online shortly, a detailing was made to the car, a charge of air conditioning, and alignment and balancing, the leak is very small so it was decided not to do the work, later The light that was burned out was changed, the car works perfectly, I have been using it these days and I really have not noticed anything to comment, I also comment that professional third parties are welcome to inspect the car, thank you , have a nice day .
Can you tell me what the estimate was to fix the problems revealed in the PPI? Can you please post the PPI? Why have you elected not to make the repairs? Thank you.
tommysita , paint meter photos were recently added , and soon underbody photos and tires , with date 3512 back and 4212 (week and year production) front tires . Thanks
If I were to buy a 993 Turbo, this would be the one to buy. Beautiful & stunning.
Good Morning to everyone , throughout this week I will be answering your questions , professional third parties are welcome to all of my listings , I will try to take the paint meter photos today , thanks and good luck !
can u share paint meters please?
