We are pleased to present this outstanding 1996 Porsche 993 Turbo finished in Polar Silver Metallic over an Exclusive Flamenco Red full leather interior. This generously equipped 1996 example showcases factory hardback Sport Seats and special options from Porsche’s Exclusive department including a carbon fiber dashboard, shift knob, and brake handle. Some tasteful upgrades have also been installed including a Bilstein PSS10 coil-over suspension and a Fabspeed muffler bypass with exhaust tips. Having undergone a recent engine-out service and clutch replacement, this Turbo is now being offered with approximately 44k shown miles by its seller in Seattle, Washington, accompanied by original books and tools, service records, and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
The Polar Silver Metallic finish on this 993 is said to be in exceptional original condition with clear 3M paint protection film applied over the front bumper, partial hood, side mirrors, and rear fender flares. A few minor imperfections are indicated on the upper part of the front hood as well as some scratches on the underside of the front bumper, and a touch-up on the lower rear valence (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Two small chips are also present on the front windshield, one of which has been professionally filled-in. The 993 Turbo is recognizable by its factory widebody, revised front fascia, and painted rear spoiler. This example also retains its signature 18” Turbo Twist hollow spoke wheels that come dressed in healthy Bridgestone Potenza tires dated from 2018.
Inside, this Turbo showcases a Flamenco Red full leather interior with optional extended leather upholstery on the instrument bezels and sun visors. Power-operated and heated hardback Sport Seats are also factory optioned along with Exclusive carbon fiber trim on the dashboard, shift knob, and brake handle. An OEM Porsche GT3 carbon fiber steering wheel has been installed along with an upgraded Porsche CDR-220 radio. Other modifications include a concealed hardwire connection for a radar detector and black Lloyd’s floormats over the factory carpets. The original 4-spoke steering wheel and CR-210 radio are included in the sale, and all gauges and accessories are stated to be fully functional.
Representing the final generation of the air-cooled 911, this 993 is equipped with a 3.6 L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine. 408 HP and 398 lb.-ft of torque stock is distributed among all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Upgraded Porsche 996 Turbo oil lines have been installed along with Fabspeed a muffler bypass, exhaust tips, and a Bilstein PSS10 coil-over suspension. Some noteworthy maintenance items have been addressed in recent years including a major 30k mile service in 2015 and a comprehensive engine-out service within the last year along with the installation of a new clutch. The original suspension components will accompany the sale and this 993 is said to be in fantastic driving condition with all service records included dating back roughly to 2007.
This sale will include a set of 2 keys, service records, the original owner’s manual, spare tire, and tools, the original suspension components, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and a clean title. For any discerning collector in search of a 993 Turbo, this beautifully appointed 1996 example is not to be overlooked.

@bannedfromESR You raise a good point that I’d like to address. When speaking with my contact at Pcarmarket before my ad went live I made the comment that I’d like to get pictures of the undercarriage and that entailed me driving the car to a shop and it would take time of course, possible a week at most. Pcar basically said don’t go thru the trouble all you need to do is slide your phone under the car and take pics, so I agreed. Well I soon remembered that there’s an engine tray (belly pan) under the engine and you can’t see anything!
The point I’d like to make is the condition of the car is consistent throughout. The body, the interior, the mechanicals are all consistent with each other.

@Timestatement I do not have a recent PPI, although last year the clutch and flywheel were replaced, along with all the cam covers. Over time the original cam covers are known to warp and leak oil. Spark plugs were also replaced at the same time. New tires in 2018. Car needs nothing.

@tommysita Yes I can. The doors measure 3.5-4.5mils, the quarter panels measure between 6.5-7.6, the roof is 10-11, and the bonnet and front fenders, which are protected with Xpel measure 10-11, including the film. I don't know exactly how thick the film is but I would guess around 5-7mils? Although the roof measurements seem high there are no signs of an over spray. If an over spray was done I have no knowledge of it. Paint meter pics will also be posted soon. thanks

@titleistaddict87 I’m a former owner of this car and can confirm the Flamenco red leather instrument rings are factory original, part of a “full leather” Exclusive option package. Red leather everywhere... instrument rings, handbrake cover, shift boot, even headliner. As you can see from the under hood sticker this was a heavily optioned 993TT, including several exclusive options like full leather interior, carbon fiber trim pkg, etc.
