This Japanese-market 1996 Porsche 993 Turbo underwent a custom build including GT2-style bodywork in Speed Yellow, a lightweight racing interior with a roll cage and Recaro bucket seats, a modified exhaust, Bilstein coilovers, and Work Meister S1 wheels. Japanese service records show a complete engine rebuild was performed before the car was imported to the U.S. by the seller in April 2024. Showing approximately 60k kilometers or 37k miles on the odometer, this custom GT2-inspired 993 Turbo is being offered for auction out of California.
This non-sunroof 993 Turbo has been modified with a GT2-style body kit including an Evo-style front bumper, bolt-on fender flares, side skirts, and a rear spoiler with an adjustable carbon fiber wing. Other features include xenon headlamps, tow hooks, hood pins, rear bumper vents, “911 GT” badging, dual exhaust pipes, red brake calipers, and black-painted 18” Work Meister S1 three-piece wheels. The exterior has been refinished in Speed Yellow and the car rides on Dunlop Direzza ZIII tires. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin has been stripped for weight savings and fitted with a full roll cage, Recaro bucket seats, Sabelt safety harnesses, a three-spoke MOMO steering wheel, and RS-style door panels. Other accessories include drilled aluminum pedal covers, a steel diamond plate floorboard, power windows and door locks, air conditioning, and a Pioneer stereo with aftermarket speakers.
Factory-rated at 408 HP and 398 lb.-ft of torque, the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers power to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The engine features a modified exhaust, and the suspension has been upgraded with Bilstein coilovers. A collection of Japanese service records accompanies the sale including a translated invoice for a complete engine rebuild.
This sale will include service records and a clean title.

@AlphaDave No problem, ask how much you need. With the manual box is all right, I know not every day (ever) ride on rally cars and those on manual box too. Maybe at some point I chose the wrong gear, maybe something else. Please understand.
Want to apologize for so many questions.
What’s the noticeable hissing from 11 second on vid to corner of the street?
At 28 seconds shift to second gear was a large clunk. How are the synchros? Any difficult gear changes. Pop out of gear when driving?
