Representing the final air-cooled 911 Turbo generation, this 1996 Porsche 993 Turbo is finished in Polar Silver over a Classic Grey leather interior. A resident of San Francisco originally purchased it and it was later sold to a Porsche mechanic from whom the seller bought the car 15 years later. Under previous ownership, it was modified with hybrid turbochargers, a 5-bar fuel pump, a GT2 ECU, and Turbo S-style fog lights. The seller also installed carbon fiber hardback Sport Seats, a carbon fiber-trimmed steering wheel, and a Porsche Classic (PCCM) head unit. This tastefully modified 993 Turbo is now being offered for auction out of California with approximately 79k miles showing on the odometer.
The 993 Turbo features wider bodywork than a contemporary Carrera model along with unique bumpers, side skirts, and a fixed rear wing. Finished in Polar Silver Metallic, this example rides on silver 17” Technology hollow-spoke wheels and features red brake calipers, Turbo S-style fog lights, polished dual exhaust tips, xenon headlamps, and an electric sunroof. The top of the rear spoiler has been painted black and the rear window wiper has been removed. The CARFAX shows damage reported in 2020 which is said to have resulted from the owner refinishing the third brake light bar. The seller adds that the car has been ceramic-coated and new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires were installed under their ownership. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The Classic Grey leather interior has been fitted with custom Waldemar power Sport Seats featuring carbon fiber backrest shells and Porsche-crested headrests. Other accessories include a custom carbon fiber-trimmed steering wheel, stainless-steel door sill guards, Porsche-branded floor mats, a fire extinguisher, a magnetic phone holder, power windows and mirrors, automatic climate control, cruise control, a central locking system, and an upgraded Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) head unit. The original seats and radio are said to accompany the sale.
Factory-rated at 408 HP and 398 lb.-ft of torque, the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six engine drives all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Under previous ownership, the engine was modified with hybrid turbochargers, a 5-bar fuel pump, a GT2 ECU, and an aftermarket exhaust. The current owner had the turbochargers rebuilt and installed upgraded turbo oil lines. The brake pads and rotors were also replaced along with the starter.
This sale will include the original seats, radio, rear windshield wiper, ECU, and exhaust pipes, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, an air pump, a car cover, and a clean title.

I have owned this car for the last 4 years, this is a driver with absolutely no issues, a very enjoyable jewel, and it has been loved a lot and maintained very meticulously. It has been serviced last month with an oil change and new tires. Discs and brake pads were changed 3 years ago and have been used less than 5k miles. The car has passed the CA emission tests the 2 times I had to do it during my ownership with no issue reported.”

Met with the owner on Saturday, cool dude! He let me inspect and paint meter the car, but did not let me drive it. The car is in excellent condition, monitors were set and no codes on DME. Paint meter showed higher readings on the driver side hip and blended into the door and front fender. The rest of the car minus cowl showed factory paint. The seats were amazing of course and AC blew Cold! Overall an excellent driver, I’ll be keeping an eye on this one!

The third break light and the rear windshield wiper have been removed by the previous owner.
I liked the wiper deletion but preferred to have the third break light re-installed mostly for safety reasons.
The body shop that did the work marked it as a damage on the CarFax. You can see the receipt on the picture #184

@MikeyWoodz Sure! Turbos are k16-24 hybrid with GT2 software,
5 bar fuel pump and pressure regulator.
And yes it passes the CA smog check
Do you have any more info on the turbos /upgrades to show the 550hp? That quite a jump from the stock 408hp.
Passes smog with the factory GT2 ecu. I like that. Perfect upgrade for Ca.
