We are pleased to present this 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera 4 Cabriolet finished in Black over a special Flamenco Red leather interior with factory hardback Sport Seats. One of the rarer models of the 993 generation, this Canadian-market Carrera 4 Cabriolet was purchased new by the seller in 1996 and has been garage-kept and diligently maintained throughout its entire life. Currently showing just over 60k kilometers (37k miles) on the odometer, this beautifully appointed 993 was previously listed on PCARMARKET and is being offered once again by its original owner out of British Columbia.
This 993 is finished in Black, and the car is noted to have been garage kept and regularly detailed from new. Some minor signs of road-going wear are present, and the seller reports a small puncture in the Cabriolet top that has been patched. The seller also notes that both doors were refinished early on in the car’s life following some cosmetic damage, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This 993 rides on factory 18" Turbo-look wheels featuring "Carrera 4" logo center caps and Michelin Pilot Sport tires mounted within the last year.
The special order Flamenco Red interior features highly sought-after factory hardback Sport Seats. Some minor signs of wear are present, and the seller reports all gauges and accessories to remain fully functional including the original CR-210 radio.
Marking the final generation of the air-cooled 911, this 993 is equipped with a 3.6 L flat-six Varioram engine that sends up to 282 HP to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. This 993 is one of only 1,138 Carrera 4 Cabriolets to have been produced with the updated Varioram engine. Routine maintenance is said to have been carried out through an authorized Porsche dealership during the early years of the seller's ownership, with more recent service performed by a local Porsche specialist. CARFAX shows a transmission fluid change to have been carried out in 2018 at 58,797 km, and the last full service is said to have taken place in the fall of 2019.
This sale will include the original air compressor, spare tire, CD changer, and a clean title. With its rare and desirable factory specifications, this one-owner 993 is not to be overlooked.

@Fowle That's true, but on 96-98 993's, the check engine light issues can start as early as 25k. Roof wear depends on many issues.
Is it the original roof?
Any check engine light issues?
Thanks,
Bob
this car is still not SOLD wasnt it on the site last year
@Fowle - USA import duties is 2.5%. The car would need to be shipped to Derby Line, Quebec or a terminal close by. I would then be driving it across the border and home.
@WTB911 wouldn’t taxes, import costs be assessed by US and not Canada .I believe only shipping costs would be incurred here. You of course would be able to pick the vehicle up from my garage .I will try to get an estimate re shipping costs ,Where are You located ? Randy
@Fowle - of course shipping and other import costs/taxes are my costs. I'm just trying to put together a budget for that to factor into the total purchase price. I'm not familiar with the import process and associated costs. I appreciate your help in nailing this down.
@artichoke Bob mileage upon my car os roughly half Yours I think.
@WTB911 Shipping costs will be your responsibility of courseb
If your bid is successful I will be happy to line up the auto carrier and attend to logistics with you, alternatively You could drive it across the Sumas Wash Border which is app 20 miles from my residence .I will try to get a quote there are a number of carriers transporting cars across Canada daily
@Fowle - car is to be shipped to New Hampshire. If my taking delivery in Canada and driving over the border makes it easier, then ship the car to Derby Line-Rock Island Border Crossing in Quebec and I can drive over the border from there. Thanks.
It’s got the original roof and no issues re check engine light.please confirm receipt as I have endeavoured to respond to all other enquires and evidently they were not received by Enquirers Randy
Is it the original roof?
Any check engine light issues?
I have the same car, (96 993 C4 Cab), but with Rubicon gray interior! I have 123k on mine and couldn't imagine selling it! Best car ever made!!!

Hi Seller - are you able to assist in the importing the car into the USA and shipping it? Any idea on the cost for that? Beautiful car!
@WhipE350 Hi there. This vehicle was not driven during the winter months, it was stored in my garage. It was only driven in the Summer months and sparingly.
