Representing one of the last air-cooled 911 Turbos, the 993 Turbo coupe boasts over 400 horsepower and was the first Porsche Turbo model to feature an advanced all-wheel drive system derived from the iconic 959. Finding massive success through the end of the 90’s, these were some of the most advanced and capable sports cars on the road. Today, the 993 Turbo carries special heritage and remains one of the most sought-after air-cooled 911’s on the market. Starting life with its initial two owners in Virginia and North Carolina, this Turbo was sold to its third owner in Florida before being purchased by the current owner who resides in the San Francisco Bay Area. One of only 1,297 cars built for the American market, this stunning Turbo now shows only 23,850 original miles on the odometer and is being offered for auction in excellent overall condition.
This Turbo pulls off a mean look with its wide hips and a sleek black paint that shows to be in exceptional condition. Upon removing its older paint protection film, the seller noticed slight etching around the headlights and front trunk. Bringing it back to its concours level appearance, the front bumper, fenders and hood were professionally repainted. Additionally, Expel paint protection film has been re-applied to the entire front end. This 993 rides on upgraded HRE C80 forged 3-piece wheels which are in excellent shape and come wrapped in 1-year-old Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires. The seller would like to note that a set of four mint condition OEM 18” Porsche Turbo Twist wheels will be included in the sale of this car.
Inside, this Turbo is appointed in a cashmere/black leather interior. The seller states that the interior is remarkably clean; the only noted flaw being some minor wear on the driver’s outer seat bolster. The factory equipped power windows, seats, sunroof, and climate control along with all gauges and electronics are in excellent working order. The owner has upgraded to a leather stitched steering wheel from a 996 Turbo and has installed a black parking brake lever, shift boot and cup holder adding nice contrast to the interior. The sale of this car will include the original cashmere trim pieces, steering wheel, and black Lloyds floor mats. Overall, this 993 features a very unique and well-kept interior.
One of the quickest and most advanced cars of its time, the 993 Turbo is fitted with an air-cooled, twin-turbocharged M64 3.6L flat-six engine, producing 408HP and 398 lb-ft torque. Power is sent to all wheels by way of a crisp 6-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel drive system sourced from the iconic 959 supercar. 0-60 is achieved by this innovative powertrain in an astonishing 3.6 seconds, maxing out at just over 180mph. This 993 has received several exciting performance upgrades including:
A leak down test was performed in August 2019 and shows test results of 1-3% throughout all cylinders. At the same time, the spark plugs, cap and rotor were replaced, along with an oil service. Service records dating back to 2003 indicate that this 993 has been meticulously cared for, undergoing the following maintenance items at the indicated points in time:
The sale of this superb 1996 993 Turbo will include original documentation, extensive service records from 2003 to present, owner’s manuals and a clean Carfax report. Also included are the original wheels, trim pieces, steering wheel, and exhaust tips as well as two keys with remotes (only one of which is programmed). This low mileage Turbo is a very special car. It is one of the very last air-cooled Turbo's and the first to feature AWD. This car represents a major chapter in Porsche history, a last hurrah for the analog air-cooled 911 and a nod to the modern and more refined cars that would soon follow.

I have serviced this car at my shop over the past years and have to say it is stunning. Beautifully maintained. It will not disappoint!
Hey everyone,
I wanted to make a few comments about the photos in the gallery.
There are two photos that show the paint flaws prior to the respray of the bumper, fenders and hood. The first photo shows a very small dent on top of one of the fenders near the windshield. The second photo shows the etching in the paint on the underside of the frunk that happened when the paint protection film was removed. There was similar etching around the headlights, but unfortunately we do not have a "before" picture of that available.
One of the images in the gallery shows a chart of the paint meter readings for the car. The front of the car now has paint protection film on it, so it shows a higher thickness reading than the panels without paint protection film. We are also in the process of uploading photos that show the paint meter on the actual panels.
Let me know if you have any questions about this. Thanks!
@gottrbo Thank you for the bid. Please let me know if you have any questions about the car.

@Vince993s I think what we’re seeing here is a car that is driven very sparingly (averaging 1k miles a year), owned by people who have spent a lot of time, attention and $ to keep the car in near perfect condition, ready to go on a moments notice.
Magnificent machine! Even though I am a long term Porschephile, (‘87 944S, ‘97 C4S, ‘06 C2S, I am amazed that these revered machines with low mileage need to have steering rack and clutch slave cylinder etc replaced at 16,000 miles and turbos replaced at 17,000 miles. It seems every iteration has an issue. I’m perplexed that Porsche with it’s “German engineering” can’t get it right with a Boxer engine after 50 years with the same horizontally opposed basic format. One would never tolerate this from a Japanese car manufacturer! Yet here I am still loyal and mesmerized by the brand. There is just something special about these cars. So please Mr Porsche, let’s try to go for some long term reliability.

Up for grabs is this stunning 1996 993TT that I’m selling on consignment. The owner is a retired airline pilot that has taken fanatical care of this car under his ownership, with all maintenance done by Fister Motorsports in Brentwood, CA. The owner is reluctantly putting this car up for sale in order to downsize and simplify his collection.
I rode in the car up Mt. Diablo for the photoshoot, and the car feels very solid and composed.
This is an investment quality car that any Porsche enthusiast would be proud to own.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
