This 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet came factory finished in Polar Silver Metallic over a Midnight Blue interior and equipped with an optional Tiptronic shiftable-automatic gearbox paired with its air-cooled 3.6-liter engine. It was also optioned with the HiFi Sound Package and Power Seat Package with upholstery in supple leather. This 993 has been driven approximately 5k miles over the last four years of current ownership and is said to have always been garage-kept and driven under ideal weather conditions. Supported by recent maintenance items and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, this 993 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida while showing approximately 30k miles on the odometer.
This 993 is finished in Polar Silver Metallic with a blue cabriolet top and upgraded OEM 18” 911 Turbo-look wheels. The car has also been fitted with new Bergvill F/X T-Light HID under current ownership as well as European-style running lights and turn signals. Clear paint protection film is applied over the front end and new Bridgestone Potenza tires were mounted in 2020 at approximately 25k miles. The seller notes very few imperfections are present, most notably two small wear spots on the cabriolet top, one small rock chip on the front bumper, and a peeling stone guard edge on the driver’s rear quarter. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Midnight Blue interior features optional power-operated seats in supple leather along with the factory-optioned HiFi Sound Package, AM/FM Blaupunkt radio, and a 6-disc remote CD changer. Other original equipment includes power windows and door locks, automatic climate control, cruise control, an onboard computer, and a headlight cleaning system. Under current ownership, stainless steel gauge bezels have been installed along with Coco floor mats, replacement bass and midrange speakers, a front strut tower brace, and new resistors for the A/C and oil cooler. All gauges and accessories are said to remain fully functional.
An air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 282 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed Tiptronic gearbox with automatic and shiftable drive modes. The seller notes a major 30k-mile service was performed in 2006 while the car had less than 14k miles showing on the odometer, the brake system was recently flushed, and a Pad Keeper has been installed for the engine compartment insulation.
This sale will include the original owner’s manuals, toolkit, spare tire, air pump, a car cover, boot top cover, a clean title, and extensive documentation including a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.

@Xavi1205 In reference to the maintenance record dated January 4, 2006 (image #197) I have very little information to offer regarding details of the door dents & touch up paint as the owner during this time has since passed away. As far as we can tell the touch up appears to be on the passenger side in three very small areas. We submitted additional photos for PCarMarket to upload for your reference. You will also find paint meter pictures (images #161-178) of both doors and around the entire car.
Greetings,
I see the photos about the details of the car's paint... Do you know if the original paint of the car was retouched and in what parts?

I have looked, driven, and it is an almost perfect example. If it rings your chimes, you should buy her.
Why did I not buy? I had a near perfect 87 triple blue cab and did not want to sell it yet.

@artichoke The top is not original, was replaced by a big time collector. As I remember he said he did it because it had a cuff on the rear window. Unfortunately he pass away.
There are no engine lights on
Is it the original top?
Any check engine light issues???
