Finished in Polar Silver Metallic over a Midnight Blue interior, this Canadian-market 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe features a 6-speed manual transaxle paired with its 3.6-liter flat-six engine. It came factory-equipped with an optional limited-slip differential, Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), power-adjustable hardback Sport Seats, cruise control, and an electric sunroof. The car has also been modified with a front spoiler, side skirts, a rear wing, red-painted brakes, 18” Speedline-style wheels, and a Porsche Classic stereo. This 993 is said to have been owned by the Pfaff collection before it was purchased by a C-level executive at Canada Goose and eventually acquired by the seller who oversaw a recent engine-out service. Showing approximately 97k kilometers or 60k miles on the odometer, this Carrera Coupe is now being offered for auction out of Ontario.
This 993 is finished in Polar Silver Metallic (L92M) and features an RS-style front spoiler, side skirts, and rear wing. Other equipment includes projector headlights, headlamp washers, integrated fog lights, heated power mirrors, an electric sunroof, dual exhaust outlets, red-painted brake calipers, and 18” Speedline-style three-piece wheels. A pre-purchase inspection report describes the exterior as being in good condition, apart from minor chips, scratches, and dings around the exterior. The inspection report is available in the gallery along with a CARFAX showing severe damage to the right rear end reported in 2000.
The Midnight Blue interior includes optional leather hardback Sport Seats with electric height adjustment, a four-spoke leather steering wheel, and matching blue carpets. It also features power windows and door locks, automatic climate control, cruise control, Porsche-branded floor mats, and a Porsche Classic (PCCM) stereo head unit. The pre-purchase inspection report notes some signs of wear on the front seats, steering wheel, and shift knob along with sagging headliner upholstery. The seller states the seat and sunroof have been repaired since the inspection.
Producing up to 282 HP, the air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine drives the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle. The car came factory-equipped with an optional limited-slip differential, Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), a multi-link LSA rear suspension, and fixed 4-piston brakes with cross-drilled rotors at each corner. A service invoice from 2025 shows the engine was removed and serviced with a top-end reseal, new head gaskets, lower valve covers, spark plugs, a clutch slave cylinder, and shifter shaft seal.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a spare tire, and an Ontario registration.
The seller would like you to know: “The car is in mint condition.”

Final Hours – Don’t Miss This Opportunity
This 993 is not just rare—it’s truly special. Originally part of the Pfaff Porsche personal collection in Toronto, it was then sold privately to Paul, the COO of Canada Goose, as a gesture of friendship. When Paul relocated to the UK, he had to part with his collection, and I was fortunate enough to acquire several of his cars—this being my absolute favorite.
Mechanically, the car was fully reconditioned by Pfaff Porsche in 2018. Paul drove it less than 300 km after that, and I’ve added about 5,000 km myself. The car needs nothing—it’s ready to be enjoyed. Pfaff also applied their Platinum ceramic coating, preserving the finish beautifully.
If you know these cars, you understand how seldom a 993 like this comes to market. It carries more than just performance and pedigree—it represents a unique chapter in Canadian Porsche history.
There’s still time to make it yours. Bid now before it’s too late.
@Denim Thank you for the kind words and thoughtful questions!
Rear Wing:
I’ve uploaded a few fresh photos this morning that may help clarify — to my knowledge, the rear wing was added onto the OE engine cover prior to my ownership. I haven’t made any modifications myself aside from regular oil changes and the most recent service.
Rim Condition:
Great eye on the repair invoice — I actually hadn’t noticed that line myself. I’ve added a detailed photo of the rear driver’s side wheel. There’s absolutely no vibration when driving, and the car feels solid throughout.
Transmission & Oil (from PPI):
As this is an air-cooled 993, there's no coolant system to worry about. The PPI tech didn’t note any visible leaks, and when I had the seat and roof liner addressed, I also asked the mechanic to inspect it further. They found only a very minor oil seep, which prompted me to move forward with a full engine-out top-end reseal. I spent nearly $10k to ensure the car is in top mechanical shape for the next owner — or for me to continue enjoying it if it doesn’t sell.
Side Skirts:
The clips for the side skirts weren’t available at the time of inspection, so I left them as-is since it’s purely cosmetic. Given that the next owner might prefer to remove or revise the aero kit anyway, I thought it best not to alter anything further. Aside from that, the car is in excellent condition both mechanically and visually.
Let me know if you’d like any additional photos or info. Appreciate the interest and support — good luck with the bidding!
Best regards,
Bid in the amount of $55,000

Lovely 993. Very responsive seller.
Is the rear wing added to the OE engine cover? Wondering if it’s removable or new cover would be required?
From the repair invoice. Do I understand correctly that “…drivers side rear rim has a small crack in it” ? Is there a vibration?
From the PPI.
Fair to say no issues or leaks with trans & coolant ? Just unable to inspect ?
Were the separating side skirts repaired ?
Thank you
GLWS.

Big thanks to MagicalMachine for the strong $50K bid and to Rozay for keeping the action alive at $32K—really appreciate the interest from both of you!
With just 10 hours left, now’s the time to make your move on this beautifully spec’d 993. A rare Canadian-market example in Polar Silver over Midnight Blue with factory LSD, Sport Seats, and a fresh engine-out service—it doesn’t get much better than this.
Don’t miss your chance—once the clock runs out, so does the opportunity. Let’s see where this one lands!
@ItalStal Hi, thank you for the message and the kind words!
You’re absolutely right—photos can only show so much, and I completely understand the concern given the Carfax history. Interestingly, the PPI didn’t even note or pick up on any evidence of prior damage, which speaks to how well the work must have been done. I suspect the repair happened during the original 4-year warranty period, likely at a certified facility.
The car presents very well in person, and I’d be happy to provide detailed photos or hop on a video call if that helps with peace of mind.
Thanks again, and feel free to reach out with any other questions!

Hi, I know the accident wasn’t during your ownership but is the paint and bodywork apparent? In today’s money, the carfax is about $31,000 so I’m just curious if there is over spray on the window trim, waves in the paint, misaligned panels etc.
Looks fine in the photos but in person is always a different story
Thanks and good luck with the sale!
Those are RH wheels, not speed lines. However these are not cheap Chinese wheels, they are made in Germany. I've seen quite a few sets in the US.
@Blue_GT3 Thanks for your interest. I’ve just uploaded a photo of the wheel showing the specifications—these are made in Germany. Let me know if you have any other questions or would like a closer look at anything else.

Hi there, just a quick note to let you know I’ve uploaded some additional photos from when the car was part of the Pfaff collection in Toronto

@Blue_GT3 (Notes from the previous owner)
Rare factory power sports seats (hard back colour match)
Power everything
AC
Euro RS Aerokit & wheels
S brakes
LSD
Upgraded Porsche ‘Classic’ radio unit (has Bluetooth, Navigation, USB, IPhone connect ect.)
@Blue_GT3 Thanks for your question regarding the wheels. I was told by the previous seller that these were OEM Speedlines, but to be fully transparent, I’ll need to confirm that by checking the markings on the back of the wheels.
I’m currently traveling and will be back by Wednesday morning. Once I return, I’ll take a look and follow up with photos or details for verification.
Are these oem speedlines? Or tramont Cup 2?
@clascalza Hey! Great eye — thanks for pointing that out. I’ve just uploaded a photo of the option code sticker to the gallery. Let me know if you have any questions about the build or would like a clearer shot of anything specific!

Hey there I didn’t see a picture of the option codes in the photos. Do you have them by chance?
@Jarod964 and @Fil Boom! We’re at $30,000 and $31,000! Big thanks to the latest bidder — love seeing the action pick up on this special 993. Let’s keep it going!

@JV911 likewise! I wish I had seen the auction before the weekend. I am in Toronto and would have come to have a look. Will be following along and bidding for the rest of the week!
@mmckee99 Appreciate the opening bid of $5,000 — a strong start for a well-sorted example of the last air-cooled generation. With its desirable factory options, and recent engine-out service, this 993 checks all the right boxes for a serious collector. Excited to see where this one heads!
Let start the fun off on this 993!
Bid in the amount of $5,000
@RS136 Thanks for pointing that out! The oil level was checked during the recent engine-out service and again at warm idle on level ground, and it’s within spec. That said, as many 993 owners know, the factory gauge can fluctuate and isn’t always precise. To be safe, we’ll have the oil level inspected again and confirm. Appreciate your feedback — happy to answer any other questions!
You have way to much oil in you 993 or your gauges are not working properly!!!
@anyibogu Thank you for taking the time to come by and see the car in person — I really appreciate the kind words! It was great to hear you enjoyed the drive. It’s always nice when fellow enthusiasts can experience what makes the 993 so special.
Best of luck to all bidders — looking forward to seeing where this one lands!
@Johnjr007007 I’m located in Whitby Ontario, Canada.
Hello, which state is this car located in? I’d like to see it i person
I live nearby so took the chance yesterday to set my eyes on this beauty and drive it. The car is in great condition as advertised and is truly a blast to drive!
Thanks @JV911 and GLWTA!!
@tubeGuy Thanks! I really appreciate the kind words — it definitely has a great stance. To my knowledge, the ride height is stock. I haven’t made any modifications to the suspension during my ownership, and there’s no indication from previous records that it’s been altered.
Let me know if you’d like any specific photos or measurements!
Wow. I love the way it sits. Is the ride height stock?
Good morning, and thank you for your interest.
There is no documentation or photos available from the collision repair that took place in 2000. Unfortunately, due to the age of the incident, those records were not retained by the prior owners. However, the car has since been thoroughly inspected, and a recent engine-out service was completed to ensure everything is in excellent mechanical condition.
Please let me know if you’d like to review the inspection report or service records—I’d be happy to share them.
Best regards,
Nathan

Goodmorning, is there any history (pictures or repair orders) from the collision repair?
Hi everyone,
Thanks for checking out my 1996 Porsche 911 Carrera (993) – it’s a truly special car and I’m excited to share it with fellow enthusiasts. This Canadian-market example has been carefully maintained and recently received a full engine-out service to ensure it’s ready for its next chapter.
I’ll be following the auction closely and am happy to answer any questions along the way. Looking forward to connecting with fellow Porsche fans and seeing where this journey takes the car next. Best of luck to all bidders!
Warm regards,
JV
